"Seriously." I mumbled to myself, while dabbing at the coffee stain that was quickly spreading across my white-button blouse. Of course, the only top that I could fit in has to be ruined.

I looked for more napkins in my purse to cover the stain. But of course, to no avail. I had lunch in the school cafeteria, and made myself look like a fool infront of some students that was watching me.

So far everything today was not in my favor. And spilling coffee on myself was just the cherry on top of the horrible day. Not only that but I had to finish marking 3 classes worth of assignments that was needed later in the day, sometimes I didn't know why I bothered.

I heard my name being called, but I shrugged it off and hoped that if they saw that me being busy, they would leave me alone.

If it was Eli, aka my only colleague/bestfriend in my workplace, I would probably turn around and look, but she was on leave today. I kept on looking on phone, acting busy.

"Feeeeeeelll." As the voice got closer, I recognized it and scrunched up my eyebrows in confusion. What the heck was Alfie doing here?

I looked up and saw that he had a bright smile on his face and he was swinging a bag in his hand.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, crossing your arms. Eyeing the bag, I made out a few Tupperware containers.

"Is that anyway to talk to your caring husband who brought you lunch?" He dramatically placed a hand over his heart, and looked at me playfully.

I uncrossed my arms and laughed a bit at his expression and he lifted the bag and placed it in front of me.

"What's with your...?" He looked and pointed at my blouse, at the light brown stain. I gave him a dry look, "...I spilled my coffee."

I could tell he was trying to stifle his laughter.

"Alf." I whined, while stabbing at a piece of chicken in the salad.

"What? It's just...that is so like you." He laughed loudly, catching the attention of a few of my co-workers.

The rest of our lunch consisted of Alfie poking playfully at the stain and me, trying to defend my clumsiness.

"Are you done yet?" I asked while rolling my eyes.

"Maybe. Do you have any work left?" He asked while sipping on some coffee.

"Yeah, a ton actually. Why?"

"Oh crap." He mumbled. I managed to hear.

"What? What did you do?" My eyes widened  while raising my eyebrows at him. "Um, how long is it gonna take you? I want to drive you home."

"Approximately 2 hours maybe? Wow, how sweet of you." I replied sarcastically at the second reply.

"Right. Make it quick alright. I'll come around again and pick you up around 5?"

"I'll try to finish my work as fast as I can. What's the rush for? I have a lot of work." I replied. "Ah nothing. See you then." Alfie nods and holds out his arm for me.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" He asks.

"I'll be alright. Thank you for lunch." I say with a smile that will reassure him at least, if not myself.

"Take care of yourself. Don't overwork yourself okay?" he moves his hand under my chin, gently lifting it up to meet his eyes.

"I love you, Fel." he says quietly.

"I love you too. Go, I don't want any students staring at us." I lean up and give him a peck before going back to the staff room.

Are you done yet? Missing you. - Alfie

Clock strikes 5, and I'm halfway there. I'm getting weary already, and my eyes couldn't take it anymore. I carried some of the work so I could continue at home.

I walked to the carpark to see Alfie already waiting for me.

"Slow down, why are you driving so fast?" I asked for the 3rd time as Alfie turned onto our street.

"Nothing." he laughed as he pulled into the garage, helping me out of the car and to the front door.

He fiddled with the keys for a second before slowly sticking it into the key hole, "Are you okay?" I sighed as he placed his warm hand on the small of my back.

"Shh." he grinned big while opening up the door and leading you into a fully decorated house. "Suprise!" screamed a loud bunch of people who was hiding behind the furnitures.

"Oh my goodness." I said to myself and laughed. "Hey babygirl, it's your baby shower!" squealed Taylor running towards me and hugging me tight.

Once she lets go, I looked around the room. it was decorated in pink and brown, with a pile of presents by the window. The food looked great as well.

"Okay come, it's time to let the mommy to be rest." said Eli as she pulled me to the couch.

"You ladies go on with baby shower, while me and the guys are gonna have a barbeque outside." said Keagen as all the guys walked out of the house to the back yard.

"How are you feeling, Fel?" Eli asked, sitting beside me.

"I'm tired like always. You know, with what happened to Ana lately. And work of course. But I'm glad things are slightly okay now. Thanks for leaving me all alone today at work by the way. " I replied while laughing.

"Well I took a day off from work to prepare this baby shower for you, you little shit." Eli replied.

I looked around the backyard, smiling at the decorations that was put up.

"Fel, you need to take a break from work already. You work hard for a pregnant lady." said Shalyn. "I'm doing well babe, don't worry." I smiled whilst rubbing my baby bump.

My smile grew when I saw Alfie. He was standing by the barbecue with the guys, standing around him. I was not expecting a baby shower at all, seriously.

/Alfie's POV/

"Not long now." I heard Anthony say, poking my arm. I smiled, not saying anything. "Come on man, how are you feeling about it all?" Ryan asked.

"I'm happy, of course. Soon I'll be able to hold and talk to them, rather than talk to her baby bump." I replied.

"Time for presents," Taylor yelled, getting everyone's attention. Within minutes, everyone was surrounding me on the couch and Alf took Eli's seat beside me.

"This one is from me," Shalyn said happily as she handed me a nicely wrapped present.

"And me," Anthony added. I smiled and slowly untied the ribbon, letting the paper fell. I gasped when I saw the outfits on my lap.

"I can't imagine them wearing these," I said, "I love them."

I finished opening up the last gift that was from Taylor, when Alfie loudly cleared his throat. "Before anyone gets up I'd like to say a few things to my gorgeous wife, Fel." he grinned, standing in the center of the room.

I felt my cheeks get hot as he spoke up again, "Fel, I just want to say that you are the love of my life, and how grateful I am to have you. I'm beyond happy that I get to start a beautiful family with someone as amazing as you." he smiled, walking over to where I was sitting and placing his hands on my baby bump.

Suddenly, the whole room were dabbing their misty eyes with napkins or whatever they could get their hands on and "aw'd" at the speech.

"I love you and can't wait to see them." he chuckled softly before leaning down and pressing his lips gently to mine. My eyes tearing up as he pulled away.

"That was so cheesy, but I love you so much." I managed to say loudly, letting the guests laugh.
