"Can we try again next weekend? I'm starving." I started to whine.
4 of us were walking down a street filled with bridal boutiques.
"Just like Alfie, forever hungry." Elizabeth whispered to Taylor & Shalyn making them laugh.
"Really?" asked Shalyn.
"Yes! They get scoldings from Mr Samuel almost every single week for eating in class, back in when we were in high school." replied Eli.
I walked into the boutique and began looking around.
Taylor pulled out a dress and smiled. She went up to me and asked, "Hmm, what about this?"
"Yeah, I'll go try it on." I replied with no emotions.
I walked into the dressing room and without looking at the dress, I just slid it on. Since the dress had to be tied up, I couldn't do it in my own. I hold the bodice against my chest and looked into the mirror, running a hand down my body and across the fabric. The beaded bodice was gorgeous and the skirt was flowy and soft.
"I think she found it," Taylor exclaimed.
"Can you tie the back?" I asked to Eli.
Eli nodded and gently pulled the ribbon at my back.
"It's lovely," Shalyn said, getting teary.
I looked into the mirror and I smiled. Finally, I found the perfect dress. We paid for the dress and settled everything.
"Let's eat now, I'm so hungry."
