I wake up with Ethan's body pressed up against my back, his warm plump lips pressed to my neck, and his arm resting on my waist. I roll over so I'm facing him, his arm still around me, and his eyes fluttering. He stares at me for what seemed like a long time and smiles. Before I know it, his lips are pressed up against mine. This was the best morning ever.
I crash down to reality when I realised I hadn't been home all night. I pull away from Ethan and run into the bathroom with my top and my handbag in my hand. I get changed in a rush. As I walk past the mirror, my eyes grow wider. My hair was a total disaster and frankly, there was no point in trying to fix it so I just threw it up into a messy bun. I only had light, smudge proof make up, so it wasn't that bad but I decide to touch-up anyway.
I run out to see Ethan wasn't in his room. I run downstairs to the welcoming smell of chocolate waffles.
'Ahhhh, so you're a cook too?' I ask with a smile as I walk over to the counter next to him. He giggles as he pulls up a chair to the counter, sits down and pulls me onto his lap and cradles me. I rip a piece of the waffle and put it in my mouth. He looks at me nervously.
'Well?' He asks, biting his bottom lip. I grab another piece and shove it all over his lips, and put it in his mouth. He now had chocolate all over his mouth area. I actually started laughing so hard and he looked at me with the biggest grin in the world. So then I smothered his face with the whipped cream in the bowl. The waffle was genuinely sooooo nice. He is a talented cook. Who knew that all that talent hid behind those caramel brown eyes? I wonder what other mysteries lie in those deep pools.
'Hmmmm. Hey Amelia, give me a kiss.' he says.
No way am I getting chocolate and cream all over my face. I was still sniggering though. I jump off his lap and start running round the counter, into the living room. He starts to chase me and runs into the living room too. Still giggling hysterically, I throw pillows at him. He finally catches up to me and grabs my waist from behind and lifts me up and spins me around. He made me feel something I hadn't felt in a long time. Happy. He puts me down and turns me round to face him. I stopped laughing at that point. He kisses me belligerently. Mmmm chocolate. I pull away and grab a tissue to wipe my mouth and go over to wipe his entire face which was covered in chocolate blobs.
I grab my hand bag and head towards the front door while saying, 'Hey, can you drop me off to Beth's house so I can pick up my car?'
'Sure' he replies as he grabs my hand and slips on his Nike trainers while I put on my heels. Still holding onto my hand, he opens the passenger door to his car and waits till I sit down before gently slamming the door to his sexy RED CAMARO ZL1. He sits down in the driver's seat and pulls out of his driveway. He puts the radio on and 'Marvin Gaye' by Meghan Trainor ft. Charlie Puth starts playing. He looks at me with the largest beam in the world on his face.
'Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on..', he sings, laughing.
I scoff to stop my unbreakable smile and say 'Keep your eyes on the road'.
I roll my eyes and look out the window. The sun was blinding my eyes and it was like 2pm so it was super hot too; moreover, there was 30 minutes left till we got to Beth's house, when he notices my struggle of sight.
'Open up the glove compartment.' He demands.
I open it up to see the sexiest pair of black Ray Bans ever. Whoa. I examine them closely. Damn. Sleek.
'Put them on' he says, making a sharp turn.
I put them on and pull down the mirror and start adjusting my hair.
'Sexy' he comments.
'Watch it loser' I say as I roll my eyes but I'm not sure if he saw me do that.
'I like these' I state, 'Can I keep 'em?'
'No way. But I'll get you your own sometime yeah?'
I shuffle through the glove compartment again and hand him the duplicate of the exact same pair of shades I was wearing. I want these sunglasses tho. And he has TWO.
'Mmm hmmm.' I mumble, as I adjust the tinted spectacles on my nose and slouch slightly in my seat.
He looks at me with puppy dog eyes and says 'I promise.'
