"So I know I've been on a sugar baby hiatus, but since you're back on the app, do you think I should go back on it too? I mean, it was really nice not relying on my parents to send me money." Hyosung pondered as she and Jieun walked through the quad.

"I don't know." Jieun replied, half paying attention.

"Hmph I kinda miss being able to go shopping all the time. Oh no I sound so materialistic! But I really do miss shopping. What do you think I should do?"

"Hyosung can you stop whining?" Jieun snapped, "Just make your own decision. I don't know, okay?"

Hyosung frowned and felt like she had to be careful with what she was gonna say next, "Sorry...I kind of just wanted your opinion though..."

"Can't you just ask someone else?" Jieun crossed her arms and walked ahead of Hyosung.

Hyosung was taken aback by how Jieun was acting. She never acted like that before. Instad of going to confront her, Hyosung stayed behind and kept a distance as they walked to their dorm. Coming from the opposite direction, Yongguk was walking towards Jieun and waving to get her attention.

"Hey I texted you 5 times. I needed you to get me a waterbottle 'cos I'm on my way to practice---"

Before he could finish his request, Jieun put up her hand and sent a glare in Yongguk's direction, "I can't right now, ok? The vending machine isn't that far, just do it yourself."

Jieun tried to walk around Yongguk, but he grabbed her hand to stop her. "What's wrong with you? Why are you acting like that?"

She pulled back and even slapped Yongguk's hand off of her's. "I just need you to give me my space for once. And don't even try to follow after me." Jieun said in utter annoyance and continued walking, leaving Yongguk absolutely confused.

He turned around and saw that Hyosung witnessed the whole thing. He walked up to her and asked, "What's with her today?"

Hyosung just sighed, "I have no idea."

[Jieun's POV]

There were way too many people who decided to get coffee today. I was constantly taking people's orders and running back and forth. I was so annoyed with everyone today, especially with the customers who couldn't decide what to order. Why the heck would they come into a coffee shop and take 10 minutes to decide what to get? They could have thought of their order while they were waiting in the freaking line.

I had to clean the tables and while I leaned over the table, I felt a really sharp pain in my stomach. Ok yes, I was on my period, but the side effects were never this bad. I know I acted like a complete bitch earlier to Hyosung, and I should've just explained it to her, but I didn't. I clutched my stomach as I continued on with my work.

It was near closing time when the manager noticed something was wrong. "Jieun, are you not feeling well?"

"I'm fine." I lied.

"If you're not feeling well, you can just leave now. All there is left is to close up the shop, and I can do it by myself." my manager said. "Really Jieun, just go head and get better."

I thanked my manager and took my things from the employee room and left work early. I was walking on the sidewalk and it was a 20 minute walk from the coffee shop to the campus. Have you ever experienced cramps that were so bad you couldn't even walk?

Well I haven't until now. I never understood girls when they would complain about how bad their cramps were, but now I understand. The pain was unbearable now and I crouched down with my arms around my stomach.
