"Ok Yongguk, what is it that you want?"
"You."
I just blinked at him as he took out some paper and a pen. After laying it in front of me, I could now see that this was some sort of contract.
"Umm why are you making me sign a contract...?"
"Like I said before. I wanted to make us official. I don't want to request any other girls, and after what happened to you last night, I'm sure you don't want to meet other guys from that app either."
"I'm deleting my profile from that app."
He smiled and shook his head slowly, "You wouldn't do that. You're a college girl who needs money. But you're smart. You know that if you go for a normal job, you'd have to work up to 8 hours a day just to make a fraction of what you'd be paid from this app. So why would you want to waste 40 hours a week serving people at a restaurant or filing papers when you can go on nice dates, have all your expenses paid for you, and no longer have to worry about money."
Even though i didnt want to, I let his words sink in. He was right. Having a normal job would take a lot of time out of my school work and I wouldn't even be paid that much. But why does he want to 'help' me so badly?
"Why would you go through all of this just so I would sign your contract? You can't possibly like me. We only went on one date."
"Who knows? I might be interested in you."
I made a 'pfft' sound 'cause he just made the situation really awkward.
"I think it's a win-win situation. You'll be able to pay for all your needs and it's entertaining for me; I get to have some fun too."
I raised my eyebrow at him after that line.
"It's to an extent." He added,"So are you up for it?"
My pride was on the line here, but I felt so torn because I know this is wrong but it's an easy way to get what I need. Ugh that makes me sound so selfish, but now you see why I'm so torn! These dates usually last up to an hour and it would consist of just going out in public and I'm not even obligated to talk to him during that time. And he already knows what he's getting into because I make it obvious how much I dislike him. If he doesn't have a problem with spending ridiculous amounts of money, why should I care.
"You know what? I will agree to it." I took the pen and started writing on the contract. "Under the conditions that you can't make me go on dates during midterms and finals, you can't force me to do anything that I don't want to do, and you can't let people know about this whole agreement." I could tell that Yongguk was a little surprised at the fact that I actually signed the contract, but he tried to hide it. I felt like I just signed my soul to the devil or something and I'm having some serious moral issues right now, but that kind of started the moment I made a the Sugar Baby account.
After signing the contract, I grabbed my purse and stood up, "Is it ok if I leave now? I need to practice a dance routine."
"Are you going back to the campus?" He asked.
"Yeah. So I'll just be going now."
"I'll walk you there." He got up and followed behind me.
"You don't have to." I said as we stepped out of the restaurant.
"Well you are skipping out early on our date, so I'll just go with you."
"Hey, I wanna know something. Why do you have an account in the first place? Do you really have that hard of a time getting girls to go out with you?" I smirked a little when I asked.
