Bryant's POV:

They say most twins have a special connection that keeps them tied to one another. If one is sad, the other feels their sadness or if one gets hurt the pain travels through the other's body. I never put too much stock into all that nonsense before now. I felt my body get cold. Looking to the sky I raised my face to the sun. Even though it was scorching outside I couldn't get my body warm.

'Something is wrong.' My conscious said to me. I'd been in the game the first few minutes when I started to get queasy. Pulling me out coach sent Darwin in. I sat there trying to make this feeling go away when I suddenly got cold. Standing I turned to the stands and let my eyes scan over the faces. When I found my mom I thought I'd see Julia beside her but instead the seat was empty.

'Where in the hell is Jules?' I said to myself. When my mom spotted me watching she waved at me with a grin on her face. Waving back I tried to smile but I was getting colder and colder. I didn't give the game another look. I didn't care who the hell won at this moment. Jules was hurt. I could feel it now. My shoulder was searing with pain. Running for the tunnel I tried to will my strength to her. If I could feel her pain she had to feel my strength, right? I could hear coach yelling my name but I didn't care. Fuck this game. Jules was in trouble and I had to get to her as quickly as possible. Pausing at a four way stop I closed my eyes and waited. I hated the stadium right now. It was nothing but a bunch of tunnels connected together.

'Bryant.' My eyes popped open at the sound of my name. It came from the left of me. Taking that tunnel I ran full speed down it.

'Gotta find Jules...Gotta find Jules...' I chanted over and over in my head. I was coming around the bend when I saw this guy standing in the middle of the tunnel. He was covered in blood but in his hand was a smoking gun. Jules lay there on the ground on top of another guy. I could see Mr. Phillips on the ground he was trying to put pressure on Jules's shoulder. I pushing myself even harder and tackled him from behind. The velocity in which I hit him threw the gun from his hands and toppled him forward. I'd never see Mr. Phillips move like this before.

One minute the gun was soaring through the air the next he was doing a ninja style leap and catching it before it hit the ground. Tucking and rolling his body he came up with gun in hand pointing it at the guy. It felt like we fell in slow motion but I knew we didn't. He was flailing about trying to catch himself, extending his arms he placed his hands out but with all the blood they slipped and he went down. He landed on the cemented floor his chin hit first. All I could hear was a loud crunching noise then his body suddenly stilled. Pushing off him I scrambled to Jules who lay there, her blurry eyes staring up at the ceiling.

"I knew... you'd come..." She wheezed. I pulled her off the unconscious guy under her and lay Jules back flat on the ground.

"He... drugged him... Bry.... I want... mom..." Her bravery was starting to end. Tears gathered in her eyes slid down out the corners of her eyes. I looked back to Mr. Phillips. He had the gun pointed at the guy on the ground. Slowly he made his way over and kicked his side. When he didn't move he kicked him again for good measure.

"He's dead." He said clicking on the safety and tucking the gun in his waist. Coming over to us he pulled the guy up until he could drape him over his shoulder.

"Get Julia... I can't use my cell in here. We need to get outside the stadium." He said turning into this commando. Carefully I lift Jules from the ground. Her blood was smeared on the cement. I tried not to look but I couldn't stop myself.
