The team was out. Which left me unsupervised. Sure I have a earpiece in that allows me to talk to them, and they are most likely monitoring the security cameras... But I was alone. The team is checking out a 084. We landed in Peru less than an hour ago. I would love to go, but since they didn't need me down there, and I can do my job quicker up in the plane...
It works. Also I don't think they want to take me into the field yet. Honestly... Pretty understandable.
Currently I was digging through the fridge, starving.
....
As my late lunch is heating up I decide to see what is happening down below.
"So," I start, tapping the ear piece. "Located the 084 yet?"
Static for a few seconds.
"Yes actually." Simmons mumbles. "Let me send you a picture."
I sipped from a water bottle as I waited for the photo to load. Once I got it I send it through a software to see if there are any photos similar to it.

I tap my earpiece.
" Wow, so far I haven't found anything on it."
Colson immediately replies.
"Remember the anit matter meteor that crashed on Miami, and almost ate it all up?"
"Uh no." I reply, eyebrows knit together.
" Exactly. Shield excels at covering things like this up. You right now, you are our backup, in case anything slips out about this 084." Coulson explains.
"Oh."
The microwave dings, alerting me that my lunch was ready. Smiling I open it up pulling the plate out and sitting down at the table, waiting.
★★★★★★
After I eat, I decide to give myself a tour.
Since I am a sneaky creep, I check out everyone's bunks.
All of them are as I thought they would be. Neat and tidy. Very organized. Except... For Coulson's bunk.
Sure it was neat and tidy like all the others. But it was quite obvious that he was sentimental. Shells, older books, all kinds of knick knacks littered his shelf.
Is this what his office looks like?
"Shit!" My earpiece screamed.
" What, what, what?" I rush.
" Some rebels here have attacked, and the police came. We're headed to the plane. Keep your ears open." Says Ward.
" Got it."
Rebels. Police... What about the 084???
I decided against asking yet, since apparently they were being chased by rebels. A small knot in my stomach begins to form.
What if they don't make it out?
They have to make it out. They are SHIELD agents.
They are also the ones who know how to fly this damn plane.... And if rebels come...
I'm as good as dead.
Swallowing I walk away from the bunks, light nerves setting in.
They HAVE to make it out.
