"Okay, you have the flash drive." I say to Simmons in confirmation.
She nods and holds it up.
"I programmed it with a decoy crawler." She confirms nervously.
"It'll use my browser history to simulate my usual online activity, so while Shield thinks I'm trolling facebook with the laptop you gave me-
"You'll be hacking the files for Ward and Fitz's mission." Simmons cuts me off.
"And remember, once you plug it in, we'll only have about-
"Three minutes before Shield catches on." Simmons finishes.
I squint at her.
"Do you realize that you keep finishing my sent-
"Your sentences. I know." Simmons says flustered. "I'm sorry. Bad habit."
I shrug as I fumble with setting the laptop up. We are currently camped out in some small room that no one ever goes in.
"OK. Action time."

"This is actually a bit thrilling." Simmons says as she walks down a hallway that is strictly forbidden...
"Ah, good. I'm glad." I mutter into my ear. "Now we've just got to figure out a way to get the panel open."
Simmons holds something up where I can see it from my corner behind the glass wall separating us.
"Don't worry. I made a special something." She holds it against the wall. "It's what we do."
We? Ooohhhh. We as in her and Fitz.
"All done." Simmons exclaims.
"Really?" I ask. "Uh, now just find a USB port."
Simmons nods in response and starts to punch something in.
Suddenly I see a shadow... And then a man.
"Agent Simmons?" The guy asks- Agent Sitwell I believe.
I lick my lips, trying to judge if Simmons could get away with flirting or lying.
"It's fine. Just play it cool." I try to reassure her.
"Hello, Mr. Agent Sitwell," Simmons says in a twisted high pitched voice. "May I help you?"
Oh God. We are going dowwnnn.
"Call me Jasper." He says with a smile, glancing at the panel."Um, what brings you to this restricted hallway so late at night?" Simmons mutters shrinking back.
Jasper gives her an odd look that says are you serious?
"I could ask you the same thing."
"No. Don't." Simmons says in a highly strained tone. She gives a small chuckle.
I swallow hard, praying Jasper will just-poof!- disappear.
"Simmons, focus." I warn. "Just make up an excuse."
"I was just on my way to the loo." She chuckles again. "I could swear it was two rights and a left, but is that it here?" She gestures with her hands to the wall, and shakes her head dramatically.
"That's a wall panel." Jasper points out suspiciously. "Why are you accessing it?"
"Just say something. Anything." I tell Simmons.
