Back story ( Part 1 )

JS Prom and guess what? He’s my escort, he even bought the corsage for me. That’s why I have decided to voice out my feelings. Alam ko na pangit tingnan at pakinggan na babae ang magco –confess pero believe me, ilang beses ko nang pinigilan ang sarili ko at dahil doon, napagtanto ko na palalim na ng palalim tong nararamdaman ko. Sometimes I feel like my heart’s going to burst. Tonight, kahit anong maging resulta,  inihanda ko na yung sarili ko. Basta ang alam ko wala pa naman siyang nakukwento sakin na nililigawan niya or even nagugustuhan. Alam ko naman na when it comes to a guy, may limitation pa rin ang pagiging bestfriend. Yeah, I am his bestfriend, that’s what he said.

“Krys, nandito na si Reigh.”

Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko ng marinig kong banggitin ni Ate ang pangalan niya. By the way I am the youngest. I have one sister, and two older brothers.

“I’m coming.”

Before I left my room, I took a quick view of myself in the mirror.

I wish .. the feeling’s mutual.

Pagkabukas ko ng pinto, there’s Mom and Dad, waiting for me.

“Here.” Mom said the she handed it to me. A necklace.

“Ako na.” Dad said.

“Thank you po.”

“Dalaga na talaga ang bunso ko.” Mom

“kahit dalaga na  ko Mom, Dad, mananatili pa rin po akong bunso niyo.”

“Sige na, nagdadrama lang yang Mommy mo.”

“Thank you Dad.”

“Pahatid ka kay Reigh ha.”

“Yes po.”

I always dreaming of being a Princess,that’s the effect of Disney movies to me. I will walk down the stairs and at the end of it, there’s my Prince, waiting for me. We will be dancing at the center of the floor and everything will be perfect just like in Disney movies. But I have forgotten something important.

He’s just smiling at me. Everytime he’s doing that, I’m falling for him deeper and deeper.

“Let’s go?” he ask.

“Hoy! Reigh-reigh! Bago mag midnight isauli mo na yan dito ha?”

“Ate, ano ako si Cinderella o kaya naman ay si Ariel?”
