THE HEMMINGS TWINS

CHAPTER 26

LILIA P.O.V

*Christmas time Dax is almost four months old*

It was amazing how much I loved Michael and how much he could piss me off. I know it's not easy to handle me but for god sake if the man could change a diaper for once in his life that would be amazing.

"Michael!" I shouted knowing damn well he was playing video games or napping.

"I'm coming. I had a bloody nose." He claimed and he came into the room wiping his nose.

"What did you do?" I questioned.

"I don't know." He sighed before he sat down and helped me change Dax's diaper. We were heading over to the mall to get our Christmas pictures done and Dax thought it would be funny to move around while I was trying to get him ready.

"He's stressing me out." I said looking at Michael with tears in my eyes. I've learned that since having a child, my anxiety has been through the roof and I often want to stay in bed.

"It's okay. I'm here to help." He said grabbing my face and kissing me. "It's okay, calm down." He said fanning my face. Whenever I got stressed out, I would sweat and I think he could tell. "Are you ready to go?" I nodded my head as he got Dax into his carrier and we both headed out to his car.

"His first Christmas. I can't believe this." I said as we pulled up the mall. Luke would be meeting us here along with both of our parents.

"Are you going to cry?" He questioned.

"Probably." It was strange because a year ago I would have never thought that I would have a baby and would be getting pictures with Santa. We pulled up the mall and found our way to where we were suppose to be meeting our parents. But we found Ashton and Bryana. I looked confused. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We heard you guys were getting pictures with Santa and thought we should join." Bryana answered me and I nodded.

"We should do a group photo."

"Yes! You're a genius!" She said looking at Ashton who wasn't so sure about the group photo. "C'mon Ash, don't be such a poor sport." I laughed as our parents showed up, along with all of my brother's and Calum in tow.

"Oh my gosh, we're doing Dax's pictures first." I said getting in line. Ashton and Bryana stood behind me, Michael and Dax.

"Are we actually going to get a group photo?" She questioned.

"Yes! Do you think I joke around?! Do I look like that type of person?!" I laughed and she joined.

"You're yelling."

"Oh shit, am I?" She nodded covering her mouth with her hand. I had learned that Bryana wasn't as bad as I was making her out to seem. She made Ashton so happy and she often helped me out with Dax when we traveled to interviews with the boys. All she wanted was to be happy and if I moved on from Ashton and was happy, why couldn't they be happy? And let's face it, they were adorable.

"Next." The helped called us over.

"We have a really big group, we're going to do the baby first and then everyone else."

"I also want just my kids." My mom said. Jesus Christ, we might as well all just get in a picture together. Dax at first gladly went into Santa's arms and then when he realized that neither me or Michael were getting in the picture, he wasn't having it and began crying. We got at least one decent picture before he started crying and we moved onto the adults getting pictures. Me and my brother's went first.
