THE HEMMINGS TWINS

CHAPTER 27

LILIA P.O. V

Christmas and New Years passed and now we were getting ready for the boys to start their tour but not before I had to butt my face into Michael's life.

"Listen!" I shouted for no reason I just figured he would listen if I yelled. "We can get married but only because you want to." I shouted more and he looked at me like I had lost my mind.

"Why are you yelling?" He questioned as he sat on the floor playing with Dax who tried to crawl away.

"I just figured you would listen if I yelled." I said going over and sitting in his lap. "So, what do you say?" I questioned.

"I don't know. I know you don't actually want to get married."

"Well, we would have to hide it from the fans, meaning no wearing rings but yes we can get married." I answered sitting in his lap. "Let's go down to City hall and sign the papers." I smiled at him.

"You're serious?" He questioned smiling. I nodded my head.

"I know that this is what you want and I only want you to be happy so if you really want to get married we can. But, our parents need to be there." I said and he nodded standing up with me still in his arms.

"Call your parents." He said as he put me down and picked up Dax.

"Hi." My dad said as he picked up the phone.

"Hey, uh. I have some news."

"You better not be pregnant." I laughed.

"No no. I'm not pregnant. Not for a while." At least I hoped I wouldn't be pregnant for a while. We were very careful when we had sex.

"Then what's up?"

"Uh, we decided we wanted to get married. Can you, Mum and the boys meet us down at city hall? Like right now?" I questioned and there was a pause on other side of the phone.

"Lilia, you're serious? You want to get married?"

"What's the point in waiting?" I asked.

"Alright, we'll see you there." I turned to see Michael who was more than excited and I started to cry and I wasn't sure why.

"Why are you crying?" He asked as he held Dax.

"I don't know." I answered truthfully shaking my head. "We're gonna get married!" I said jumping up and down and he nodded.

"We have to go. My parents are on there way over there." He said getting Dax into his seat before we all headed out the door. "You're sure about this?"

"Yes. I'm sure." I wouldn't be able to change my name on any social media but I would be able to legally change my name and be able to get a new license that said Clifford and not Hemmings. "No rings, and I can't change my name on social media." I said and he nodded as he drove.

"We're really doing this." He said.

"We're really doing this." I said nodding at him.

"What made you change your mind?"

"The look on your face every time I said I didn't want to get married. It pained me." I answered. I never wanted Michael to be sad or hurt and I really did't want to be the person who was putting him through pain. "I don't want you to be in pain." I said and he nodded his head in understanding.
