THE HEMMINGS TWINS

CHAPTER 31

LILIA P.O.V 15 WEEKS PREGNANT

"Dax, look at mommy." I said as we were sitting on the floor playing. "Say mommy." He looked at me like I had lost my mind and there was no way that he was going to say mommy.

"Still trying to get him to talk?" My mom said coming into the room with a cup of coffee.

"Yeah, and he won't." The last month had passed and I hadn't talked to Michael. I had gotten a call yesterday that they were in the final stages of our divorce and everything would be settled without going to court. Michael would get Dax for a week and then I would get him for a week.

"Have you heard from Michael?" I shook my head. It was the hardest thing in the world to be going through a divorce with the only person who made me happy besides Dax. I wanted Michael to be there with me as we watched our son walk for the first time. When we heard him talk for the first time. When we teach him to potty train.

"I have to go to the food store and I hate food shopping." I sighed.

"Yeah, I do too." She answered. "We can go together." She said and I nodded as I picked up Dax and got him in his seat to take him out to the car as my mom followed behind. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay." I answered smiling a little. I knew that this wasn't going to easy. We all knew it wasn't going to be easy, any divorce isn't easy. "We weren't even married for that long and he left me." I said looking at her.

"It just wasn't meant to be." She answered and I nodded my head reading the email I had gotten.

"Wow, just wow." I rolled my eyes at the article of Michael kissing some girl.

"What?" My mom asked.

"There's this article of Michael kissing another girl." I rolled my eyes again. "Why do men always move on so quickly? He has a child he needs to be thinking about and he's not. He's acting like he has nothing to worry about." I was pissed. And I couldn't believe that my brother was allowing him to do that, Dax's uncle was allowing him to do that.

"He's trying to make you jealous."

"I'm not jealous I'm angry that he's still out partying while I'm at home with his child." I threw the phone down.

"Lilia, stop." She said getting upset that I was upset. She pulled into the food store and we both got out, me grabbing Dax. "What did you need to get?" She questioned.

"Diapers, formula, some solid food. Banana's." I answered as she grabbed a carriage and I put Dax in it.

"What do you want for dinner?" She questioned.

"Whatever, I don't care." I said grabbing the things I needed. We walked around picking out other things as a call from Michael came through. "Hello?"

"Lilia, I need to talk to you."

"What do you want?" I asked into the phone grabbing the banana's.

"Did your lawyer call you?" He asked.

"Yeah we're getting 50/50 custody. You get one week and I get the next. While you're on tour you will send child support and only when you're on tour."

"And you're good with that?"

"Yes. What are we going to do about this baby. There's going to be another one."
