Chapter 2- Birthday Suprise

It had been a week since I arrived at the Salvatores home. I had been pratically sleeping the whole week and always had either Stefan or Damon around. They were worried I would go on a killing spree and raise a lot questions. Will Stefan, Damon wasn't because it was natural instinct for a vampire but Stefan began munching on bunnies so it wasn't for him anymore.

Today was my birthday, I remembered because there was a card from Alexis in my room. I opened it and she was apologizing for rushing me out of town but she was just trying to protect me, she had a small package I opened and found my old iPod touch that had a camera and a note that said: Hey girl didnt want you to be bored so here is your iPhone with one-hundred and fifty dollars on it.

P.S: Stay away from Katherine Pierce a photo is in your photo gallery. She is alive I saw her a few years back the photo is recent.

I sighed even though Alexis was rich I felt guilty. I entered my password and opened the photos I saw the picture of Katherine and gasped because she looked exactly like Elena, Stefans human girlfriend.

I took a look at all the photos and started crying. My parents and brother and all of my old friends.

"Are you okay Cat, I heard you crying and got worried." Stefan saw the card and picked it up, "Why didn't you say it was your birthday today?"

"I honestly forgot." I sighed, "Uhm who is Katherine Pierce?"

"A dead love." I heard Damon mumble downstairs. Damon was more bearable then before but still a pain. I grabbed the note and stuffed it in my jeans pocket then grabbed my iPhone. I slipped past Stefan and ran downstairs and grabbed a chair next to Damon.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"She is long dead." Damon answered I frowned and opened up the photos on my iPhone and showed him the photo, "Ya so Elena, what's the point kid?"

"Look at the date nimrod." I growled, Damon looked closer and his jaw dropped, I smiled.

"Well that little bitch." Damon growled.

"What is it Damon?" Stefan asked, a worried look on his face. I looked at Damon to see he was pissed.

"Katherine is alive." He hissed.

"Impossible." Stefan scoffed.

I sighed and showed him the photo, he as well gawked at it. I smirked at them but a second later I had Damon on top of me with his hands on his throat. I snarled at him and struggled with his grasp.

"Damon you're hurting me get off!"

"How long have you known?"

"A few minutes." I gasped his eyes changed and his grip loosened I threw him off and ran out of the house. I heard Stefan yelling my name but I kept running.
