Chapter 29

11:45 PM

I crouched down in the underbrush, I was at Fells Church waiting for Anna. Damon crouched down right next to me watching just as intently as I was.

"How much longer?" Damon asked impatiently.

"About fifteen minutes." I sighed then I saw a girl come into view with a body over her shoulder which she dropped and I saw Jeremy, "Guess not."

"Finally." Damon said getting up.

"Guess so." I frowned following him.

"Hello Damon." The girl smirked, she was freakishly short. Anna had black hair and looked like an average teenager.

"Hey you must be Anna. I'm Catrina the original vampire and witch." I sneered and she gasped.

"Make any move and I'll kill him." Anna growled stepping toward Jeremy.

I put my hands up in surrender, "I won't let's just do this." I told her.

"Okay then." Anna smiled.

Damon, Anna and I headed down towards the tomb. I murmured the words of the spell feeling my body grow weaker and weaker by the second. But I heard the screech of the door open finally and I heard Anna shuffle in, a couple minutes later I saw Anna come back with a wrinkled up vampire in older clothes. It must of been who she wanted. I started saying the spell to seal the tomb but I fainted.

The next day

I jolted awake and I felt Damon stir next to me, and then I heard him groan.

"What happened where is Jeremy and the tomb vampires?

"Jeremy is fine and the tomb vampires are well...gone." Damon answered looking at me warily, I could feel my eye twitching with anger.

"Gone?!" I yelled, "They are gone? Twenty some very pissed off vampires are free?" I yelled again getting up out of the bed and headed toward my room mumbling death threats under my breath toward anything in praticular even my bed. I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and a black t-shirt and changed in my bathroom and put my makeup on. Then I headed downstairs and out the door slamming it behind me. It was almost time for school so Ric should be at the high school.

"We have a problem." I said walking into his empty classroom looking the door behind me.

"Your going to make me skip my first period." Ric told me and I rolled my eyes.

"We have twenty some very hungry vampires roaming town." I told him and his eyes widened.

"How?" He asked his frown deepening.

"There is a bunch of vampires who have been trapped under the old church for some odd hundred years and I need your stake gun and vervain." I told him putting a hand out knowing he had some here.

"I'm coming too and so is Damon." Alaric told me, "They could kill you."

"I. Can't. Die." I told him slowly.

Alaric rolled his eyes at me, "I know but if they kill you then they could get away."

I let out a long sigh, "Fine."

Ric pulled out his cell phone and quickly dialed a number, "Come to the school, Cat and I need you." Ric said quickly then hung up.

About five iminutes later I heard a car screech into the parking lot and a minute after that banging on the door. I went over to the door and unlocked it.

"Hey Damon." I greeted letting him in, he glared at me.

"You could of told me where you were going!" Damon exclaimed, "I thought you went on a killing spree again!"

"I may after this! You should of woke me up!" I growled at him showing my fangs.

"I..."

"Stop it you guys innocent people are going to die if we don't do anything!" Ric yelled stepping between us, "So make up already!"

"Ha not yet." I hissed crossing my arms.

"You wouldn't wake up though!" Damon exclaimed.

"You should of called Bonnie! Elena, Jeremy, Jenna and all the other humans are in danger!" I screamed.

"Enough!!" Alaric growled grabbing my wrist and dragging me away, I didn't bother struggling.

"Alaric open up!" I heard Stefan yell outside the door.

I sighed and pulled my wrist out of Rics grip and walked over to the door unlocking it and opened it, "Hey Stefan."

"Have you killed anyone?" Stefan growled grabbing my shoulders and pushing me up against the nearest wall. Alaric quickly walked over to us but I gave him a look that said stay away and he did so.

"No! I may soon though!" I hissed shoving him away and brushing my self off and hissing at Stefan.

"It is the tomb vampires." Damon told him sighing, "Catrina is in a very bad mood."

"I can tell." Stefan sighed, "Sorry Cat."

"It's fine." I growled, then looked at Ric.

"Well lets get killing." Ric said.

Half an hour later

I had two stakes on me and a vervain bomb which Ric taught me how to make. It was actually really smart how he made it. The problem was though it almost exploded in my hands and that would of ended badly.

We had found the tomb vampires on the outskirts of town in an old ladies house. I was disgusted by what they were doing so I went alone because Ric wanted a plan. I snuck to the house then I was staked through the chest and I felt my body dry up and everything went black for the second time in two days.
