It was about a week after Klaus had visited and I was lying on my bed waiting for Damon to get home. I gave up on going to school because I was a danger to the student body, even more then Stefan was. At least he could control his hunger.
Then I heard a knock on the door and I went downstairs and answered and frowned because I didn’t know who it was. It was a woman with blonde hair and a slim figure, she was pretty cute.
“Yes how may I help you?” I asked, “And if you’re a salesperson get lost.”
“I’m an old friend of Stefan’s.” The girl said.
“Ah, I’m Catrina what’s your name?” I asked.
“Lexi and who are you exactly? I’ve known them for a while.” Lexi smirked and I smiled. I could hear a car down the road a way’s it was probably Damon.
“Damon’s fiancé.” I smiled and Lexi’s jaw dropped and it was my turn to smirk. I saw Damon’s black Camaro and I smiled. And brushed past Lexi and ran at human speed to Damon even though I knew Lexi was a vampire and I flung my arms around his neck and kissed him once he got out of the car. Damon kissed me back passionately but then I heard Lexi clear her throat.
“Lexi?” Damon asked then frowned, “For once in my 146 years of living I’m happy to see you.”
Lexi frowned, “Is Stefan that bad?”
   “Worse.” Damon frowned.
“I’m confused. I know she is a vampire but what the hell are you guys talking about?” I asked.
“Lexi is the one who got the Ripper back to normal,” Damon told me, “well Stefan normal anyways.”
“Let’s go inside shall we?” I asked and walked inside holding Damon’s hand. If Lexi changed Stefan from the Ripper maybe there was hope for him now.
“So let me get this straight you got Stefan off of human blood?” I asked once we had all sat down and Lexi explained her story.
“Yup.” Lexi nodded and I smiled.
“Maybe there is hope for Stefan.” I smiled. I honestly missed the old Stefan.
“So you are Damon’s fiancé? How’d you guys meet?” Lexi smiled leaning forward.
“Well I honestly came for him and Stefan for help after I….” I took a deep breath, “after I killed myself then came back to life as a vampire. My ex-best friend Alexis Brown sent me over here after I killed someone there. Then I killed two people here because Damon made me mad,” I blushed a deep red at the fact, “and well after that things started to slowly turn for the best…well sort of.”
“Why don’t you seem like a vampire?” Lexi asked.
“I’m part witch part original vampire.”
   “Whoa.” Lexi mumbled.
“We’ve also been trying to kill Klaus, another original for the last month or so.” I growled, and then I heard the door handle turn and Stefan came in.
“Lexi?” Stefan croaked and Lexi smiled and walked over to him and banged his head on the wall, very hard if I may add, and he fainted.
“Seriously couldn’t you snap his neck?” I growled then went over to inspect the damage on the wall.
“Do you still have chains in the basement Damon?” Lexi asked and Damon nodded.
“Good.” Lexi smiled and went down into the dungeon like area.
“Come on let’s let Lexi do her work.” Damon smiled grabbing my hand and there was another knock on the door and I went to answer it.
“ALEXIS?!” I screamed once I answered the door, Damon came by my side in a flash.
“You’re not welcome here.” Damon growled stepping in front of me.
    “Protective much?” Alexis smirked.
“Yes I’m very protective of my fiancé.” Damon growled emphasizing the fiancé part.
“Cat Skyler is dead I have nowhere to go, Klaus killed my parents. And fiancé?” Alexis told us.
“Yes fiancé.” I sighed pushing my way in front of Damon, “And you’re not welcome here.”
“Cat come on we used to be best friends. YOU chose Elijah over me back then.” Alexis hissed
“I didn’t let Elijah feed you his blood or compel you!” I yelled.
“No, you didn’t.” Alexis whispered, “And I’m sorry. I just didn’t want to lose you.”
I thought about it for a moment, “Fine Alexis but just for a night.”
   “Thank you.” Alexis whispered.
“Cat are you sure?” Damon asked.
“No but she is right I turned on her also.” I answered and Damon nodded moving from blocking the door and let Alexis in.
“So who killed Skyler?” I asked her once we sat in the living room.
“Klaus I think. I pissed him off when I wouldn’t help him.” Alexis mumbled.
    “Alexis?” Elijah gasped walking in.
“Hey Elijah, how are you?” Alexis asked.
“Good what happened to you?” Elijah asked.
    “Klaus did.” Alexis frowned.
“Ah.” Elijah frowned also and stepped forward giving her a hug which I was surprised about.
“Thanks Elijah needed that.” Alexis mumbled then sunk back into the leather couch.
“I’m surprised you let her in the door.” Elijah frowned looking at me.
“So am I.” Damon sighed; I could hear the anger in his voice and annoyance.
“I’m not that heartless.” I muttered.
“Well I’m thankful.” Alexis said smiling at me, “Do you mind showing me where I’m staying for the night?”
“I’ll show you a spare room.” I said giving her a slight smile and showing her upstairs to an empty room.
“Thank you Cat you don’t know how much I appreciate this.” Alexis smiled, I nodded
“Do you need pajama’s?” I asked and she nodded, “Follow me.”
I gave her some of my pajamas and headed back downstairs, to see Elijah and Damon talking.
“Cat we have some bad news.”
“What is it?” I asked scared for the news.
“Rebekah is gone and well we think Klaus killed her again. Also Caroline is missing we think she is dead.” Elijah frowned and my frown deepened.
“Oh no…Klaus.” I mumbled then started crying. I could feel the darkness creeping in on me but I pushed it down.
