“Let’s take a break today.” Damon told me as we lay down in his bed. I had my head rested on his chest.
“I agree.” I mumbled kissing Damon and he turned me over so he was on top pressing down on top of me. We were kissing passionately then someone barged in.
“Damon and I are MIA today!” I yelled at the person.
“Elena is missing! We think she went after Stefan!” Caroline shrieked and I growled plopping my head down on the pillows below my head and sighing.
“Can’t she stay out of trouble for once?! Doesn’t she know Klaus will kill her? Or he’ll compel Stefan too?!” I shrieked.
“Ric and Bonnie are downstairs. Jeremy is at school oblivious to what is going on.” Caroline told us then left us alone again.
Damon leaned in and kissed me again and I kissed him back but pulled back, “Damon we have to find and Elena and drag her home.”
“Fine.” Damon sighed and got up and I smiled at his bare perfect chest and sighed wishing we could have had our break today; Elena was going to pay when she got home. Damon threw me one of his shirts and I put it on.
“Okay any ideas where she could of gone?” I asked everyone and Ric handed me a piece of cutout newspaper.
“Colorado, seriously?” I groaned, “Why can’t I have one day where someone isn’t about to get killed?!”
Damon sighed and grabbed his car keys, “Let’s go Cat.”
“I’m coming.” Ric said getting up, “I’m sort of taking the roll of Elena’s guardian.”
“Fine but you get the backseat and you two stay we can’t have you guys die also too many missing people to explain.” I groaned and Bonnie and Caroline nodded.
“We’ll go back to school.” Bonnie told me and I nodded at her and slammed the door shut.
It was a long drive to Colorado but we finally made it and found Elena’s car at some rundown motel. I let out a long sigh and went inside compelling the guy to tell us which room was Elena’s and he told us and I marched up the stairs.
“ELENA GILBERT OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR NOW BEFORE I BREAK IT DOWN THEN BREAK YOUR NECK!” I yelled from outside the door, not caring what other people thought at the moment I waited a second then slammed my fist on the door but Ric put a hand on my shoulder and pulled me back, I let him because he was a vampire hunter and I was a vampire which wasn’t a good enemy combo. Ric put a key in the door and opened to find Elena sleeping on the bed and I rolled my eyes.
“I swear I’m going to kill her one of these days.” I hissed, then Ric walked over to her and shook her awake.
“RIC, CAT, DAMON?!” Elena shrieked.
“Yeah we’ve come to drag you home if Klaus figures out you are alive YOU ARE DEAD.” I told her.
“No I found Stefan and I’m not leaving without him.” Elena insisted.
“Klaus is making hybrids, and hopefully failing as we speak Elena. My blood can cure it but it is a pain in the ass since I’m only a tiny bit werewolf.” I snarled at her, “I will not let you die Elena because you are some stupid idiotic human on a lifesaving suicide mission.”
“I don’t care I just have to see him…talk to him.” Elena whispered and I let out a long sigh.
“I’m sorry but he could kill you.” I told her and looked at Ric.
“Cat is right.” Ric said.
“Come on Elena Stefan killed Cat.” Damon said finally losing his patients.
“But he knew she’d come back!” Elena told us.
“Fine, we’ll stay for ONE day Elena but that is it.” I growled irritated out of my wits.
