Chapter 26

I've been talking to Aria lately in my dreams about the darkness she was talking about and it is real bad. For the past week I've been pushing it back but Aria tells me I'll slip. She also told me love always overcomes darkness in the end OR it twists it.

Me being a vampire didn't help with the being close to darkness because my nature was to kill and death was close to darkness. The darkness was the reason I had such bad bloodlust.

I let out a long sighed and laid back on my bed and looked up at the ceiling. Why did I have to be the one battleing darkness? But did I want to be Klaus? Hell no. I let out another long sigh.

"Too much signing." Stefan said walking in, "Whats the matter?"

"I..." I debated wether or not to tell Stefan but he knew about uncontrolable bloodlust and darkness, "How did you control yourself when you went off the rails?"

"A friend name Lexi helped me save myself each time." Stefan said then winced, "Well she forced me too."

"Oh..." I said.

"Why do you ask?"

"After my transition Aria and Rose came to me in a dream and told me that darkness lingers around me." l answered, "It truly does Stefan. I've felt it."

"Rose was the witch who put the spell on you right?" Stefan asked.

"Yes she is." I sighed.

"Well it must be true but you know Damon and I have your back right?" Stefan smiled walking over to me and sitting on my bed.

"Of course I do but this is something I have to learn how to control not you guys." I told him frowning at the thought of the last time darkness practically consumed me. Then I heard the door open and shut and someone pour a drink, "Damon must be home!"

Stefan just laughed as I scrambled off my bed and Dan downstairs. I ran into Damon giving him a tight hug like he had been gone for days instead of hours.

"Hey babe." Damon laughed hugging me back, I leaned back and he had his arms around my waist.

"Where have you been?" I asked.

"Talking with Ric about our new vampire friend I think I have a hunch." Damon answered smiling at me.

"Who?"

"A vampire named Anna. Her mom was locked in the tomb that was supposedly burned in the old Fells Church." Damon told me, I remembered Aria telling me something about that in the past. "There was a spell put on the tomb instead."

"Aria told me something about that before." I told Damon, trying to think of when exactly she told me. "Probably well over a hundred years ago now."

"Memory that bad?" Damon smirked.

"I have a lot more then you do." I smirked backed looking into his icy blue eyes.

"I know you do." Damon smiled and then kissed me it was soft but he pressed down harder and we backed up against the wall with Damon pressing his weight on me. His kisses trailed down my neck making me moan. Damon returned to my lips and kissed me.

"Eww eww eww." I heard Elena say walking in. II was so focused on Damon I didn't hear her come in.

"Sorry Elena." I blushed still being pressed against the wall by Damon who had a huge smirk on his face.

"We have to deal with you and bunny boy." Damon said with a huge smirk still on his face.

"I heard that." Stefan said walking down the stairs and raised an eyebrow at Damon making me blush even more. I looked away from Stefan and pushed Damon off and sat on the couch with Damon sitting next to me putting an arm around me.

"I think Anna is back in town, brother." Damon smirked a him, "So your girl may be in danger and her friend."

"You mean Bonnie?" Elena asked a bit stunned.

"Of course I mean witchy." Damon sighed.

"Why?" Elena asked and Damon let out an irritable sigh.

"She wants to open the tomb to get her mom out."

"Bonnie doesn't have enough power Damon." I sighed, "Do you know nothing about witches?"

"What do you know?" Damon smirked turning it back on me.

"I'm over one thousand years old." I answered. Damon frowned and shrugged.

"So what will happen if Bonnie doesn't have enough power?" Elena asked.

"She won't be able to do it then Anna will probably kill her I bet." I answered with no emotion what so ever.

"That is not going to happen!" Elena exclaimed.

I reluctantly nodded and sighed, "I know Elena I won't let that happen and I bet Stefan won't either and maybe Damon."

Damon grunted, "That is a huge maybe."

Elena rolled her eyes at Damon then smiled at me, "Thank you Cat. Bonnie means a lot to me and I can't lose anymore then I have."

"I know what you mean." I said with understanding. Then I thought about losing Bek or Damon. Bek was like a sister to me and if I lost her or Elijah I don't know what I'd do. Klaus I would happily kill there was something that had changed about him.

"Friends can be family." I sighed.

"Defiantly." Elena agreed, "But if you help Bonnie you three have to have a truce." Elena said pointing and Damon and I.

I looked at Damon who had a look that said hell no on his face. But for Elenas sake we had to keep Bonnie safe because she might play a part in killing Klaus, "Okay. I'll make sure Damon will too."

"Seriously what's the catch?" Stefan asked looking straight at me with a questioning gaze.

I rolled my eyes, "None St. Stefan."

"Okay I'll call Bonnie and tell what we think is going on and if she doesn't answer we are going to find her." Elena said walking off with her cell phone in hand.

"Well I'm going to go upstairs." I said and Damon raised an eyebrow tauntingly at me, "Alone."

Damon frowned, "Why?"

"I need to think." I answered simply then got up and headed up to my room. I went inside and sat on my bed then I was sucked into yet anothe vision.

Catrinas Vision

Klaus was standing next to me and Rebekah on the other side. Elijah was no where to be seen or Damon. We were in some kind of house by the looks of it.

"Damon come on out." Klaus said then Damon came in through one of the doors. He looked blood deprived and tired, "How much do you love Catrina?"

"I love her more then anything!" Damon screamed in a hoarse voice.

"But would you let her go at the cost of your brothers life?" Klaus asked.

"I-I don't k-know." Damon stammered then Stefan entered the room.

"I have compelled Stefan to kill himself." Klaus said and Rebekah and I gasped.

I gasp, was that a glimpse of the future? I hissed, Klaus has to die.
