Chapter 9- Can we talk?

Its been a day since my date with Luke. Everything that happened keeps replaying in my head. But theres something that's really been bugging me....what happened that got Luke so worked up. He told me we'd talk about it later but there isn't any sign of him wanting to talk. I called Jade to see how she was doing but she didn't pick up which coming from Jade is really weird.

I was in my room impatiently kicking my legs in the air on my bed. I was honestly just thinking to myself. I mean the date had gone waaay better than expected..the after of it was a bit spontaneous but it couldn't possibly ruin the day. The only thing I wasn't completely ok with was the secrecy Luke and Ashton held and the way Jade spoke about Ashton. I mean yeah shes my best friend and I should want the best for her, its just did she even know Ashton? Then again I couldn't exactly say that...considering me and Luke...just as I was about to have a mental fight with myself my phone rang and  I sprung to get it.

"Hello." Oh yeah I didn't look at the collar id...bad thing.

"Hey.." Oh it was Luke! Wait his voice is off.

"You ok?" there was silence from the other end. This couldn't be good. Did I do something wrong last night? Did he not feel the spark? Oh god is he breaking up with me?? NOOOO.

"I'm....ugh.." Well that cleared..nothing!

"Ugh? I'm not sure what that means in boy language.." Luke lightly chuckled before taking a deep breath.

"Can we talk?" This time I chuckled.

"Luke..sorry to break it to you but we are talking right now." He once again sighed. Ok so this is more serious than expected.

"Can you come over?" Ohhhhh nooo...that doesn't sound good. My heart was beating at an unsafe rate.

"Umm...right now?" I chewed on my bottom lip. I was pretty glad he couldn't see me right now, cause honestly I looked like a mess..i was more than nervous at what he wanted to talk about that required for me to go see him in his home.

"Yeah..its..can you? please?" His voice sounded shaky like he was tearing up. I didn't exactly 'know' Luke all that well but he didn't seem the kind of person to cry.

"Yeah..im on my way. I'll be there in 5." His breathing hitched a bit which only made me panic even more.

"Alright, i'll see you then babe." Hmm babe..why.. ugh nevermind. With that he hung up and I quickly got ready. I had on sweats but figured it would do. I grabbed my hair and put it into a messy bun and grabbed my essentials. I ran down the stairs and out the door.

Within a short span of time I was standing at the Hemmings home. I was at the porch about the ring the doorbell but I was too nervous and took a seat on the steps. I don't know why but I had a hunch things weren't ok and they weren't going to turn ok soon. I was honestly about to pee in my pants from nervousness. The only thing that kept put in my mind was whatever it was I had to make it through. Even if Luke was breaking up with me. I had to survive. I had to.

I don't know how long I had been sitting there until I felt a presence beside me. I looked up to see none other than my handsome boyfriend. He was looking off into the distance. Something was really off. I wasn't sure if I should hug him or take his hand or stroke his face or if I should even move. The silence was worthy of killing but I stayed put not knowing what was best.

"I...we....I..." He stumbled over his words as he tried to talk to me.

"Luke..whatever it is just tell me. It's killing me." He looked at me and I saw a tear in his eye. Yup the hunch was so right. Without even knowing what I was doing I stood up and began to walk away. Why I did it? Who knows. The only thing that I was sure of was our 'relationship' was over. He was breaking up with me for sure.

"Where are you going?" I turned to see him staring right into my eyes.

"You're breaking up with..so i'm making it easier on you by walking away." My voice came out husky, I was trying to stop the tears from coming out so I turned around and started to walk but Luke took a grip of me and embraced me into a loving hug. What kind of a break up is this?!

"I'm not breaking up with you. I need you. Especially now." He pulled away and looked into my eyes. His gave no exact expression. There were so many it was making me dizzy.

"Then whats going on? Luke your crying. Why?"

"Cal....his.....I...." He couldn't full on tell me what was going but I was guessing it had something to do with Calum. This got me more worried. What was going on?

"Calum? Is something wrong?" He took a firm grip on me as if he depended on it. I held his body as much as I could. His weight was starting to be full on me. That scared me. Was about to faint?

"His mum...and dad...." Luke started to faintly drift off.

"LUKE? what about his mum and dad? Luke please. Luke!"

"There was an accident. His mum, dad, my mum, and mikes mum...their in the hospital." With those words Luke passed out making both me and him fall to the ground. Tears were spilling out of me. Their families were in the hospital, there was an accident. Luke just passed out and to make madders worse. Something hit me. Something hard..everything started to turn dark and the last thing I saw was someone smirking over me as they pulled out something....a gun....out.

                       A/N: HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO...well there you go another lame chapter. yeah I decided to bring in some..unexpected, well multiple events. This is basically to give a bit of an outline of whats to come. No worries its not ending here. But what do you guys think is going on???
