Chapter 11- Now we sing!

Today's a brand new day. Yes it is and today i'm going to try everything again.

It's been two days since I left the hospital. The healing process for my wound would be slow considering many factors I wont get into, but I will heal. Luke hasn't really been around. He's been at the hospital all day everyday. Calum does check up on me to make sure i'm alright. I've officially met the other two from 5sos. Michael and Ashton. They've also been around to make sure I get whats needed.

Today however is the day I've been dreading. Today I get to go to school! Yay! The worst part of it is I have to sing. Yup. Jade some investigating for me and found out that since I had a bit of an accident I get to perform with the second group. I gotta say my nerves are eating me alive. I mean we've already seen where I ended up last time I attempted to sing. But only time will tell how I end up this time.

I got out of bed and began to stretch. After some stretches I went to take a nice shower. This usually relaxes me beyond belief. Today however it wasn't exactly working. I went to see what I should wear and ended up with a nice maxi dress. It was floral and I chose some strapy sandles to go with it. I kept my hair down and added some mouse to it to tame it. For makeup I went with a blue and green combination to match the dress and a thick brown eyeliner. Some mascara, peach blush and after brushing my teeth, a pink lipgloss. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs where I ate some cereal. I've never been one to eat a big breakfast and since today..well yeah I wasn't going to risk throwing up in front of everyone so a light breakfast would be better. I raced to my car and began the drive to the horribleness that is high school.

I was 5 minutes away from school when my phone blasted "Iris" I checked and Jade was calling me. I hadn't had any big conversations with her since the date with Luke.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey...um are you at school yet?"

"No, i'm like 5 minutes away...why?" I heard silence from the other line. Wonder whats up

"Well, just wanted to give you heads up." Heads up? Oh no what happened now?

"For?" I was still being a bit bitter and I knew she could tell. It wasn't exactly my intention it just happened that way.

"Um....Mikey kind of told everyone you and Luke are together." She seemed hesitant in informing me.

"Ok...hows that going to effect me exactly?" I mean people were going to eventually find out.

"Luke is in a band. Girls really like him and well you have that big performance today....." She seemed to not want to tell me everything but I didn't push it.

"Alright, i'll be careful I guess. Thanks for the heads up." With that I hung up and continued my drive until I finally arrived to the parking lot. I parked in my designated spot. My nerves were coming back and stronger. I was glad I had a rather light breakfast. Once I finally got the courage to get out of the car I got my bag and put it on my non-injured shoulder. I began to walk to the building when I saw Jade approaching me. I tried to go the other way, still not sure how I feel about her.

"Please don't avoid me." She spoke lightly as she took her place directly infront of me.

"Fine, I don't know how I feel about the whole 'you and Ash' thing but I need you. My shoulder is killing me and this crap is heavy,  and top things off I have to sing in front of the whole school." I shoved my bag towards her and after giving a friendly scowl she took the bag.

"I know, and we'll talk about that later. Don't you have meds for the pain?" We started to walk towards the entrance of the school. I could tell there were people who were staring at us but I did my best to ignore them.

"Fine. And no, they told me I should stop taking them after the 3 day mark, which I personally think is stupid considering I had a fucking bullet in my shoulder but hell, I ain't a doctor so I don't know my shit." Before Jade could say anything the door smacked us in the face unbalancing me, but before I could hit the floor I felt someone grab me by the waist.

"HOLY SHIT WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING! WE HAVE AN INJURED GIRL HERE!" Jade screamed at the girl who looked really guilty.

"Jade,hey its ok. We're ok." I eyed Jade and I noticed she was eying the person who was still holding me. My eyes widened as I fiddled to stand up by myself. When I turned I saw it was Ashton holding me so I didn't feel as bad thinking some random guy had been holding me for so long. I directed my attention back to the girl who slammed us with the door.

"Sorry, I swear I didn't mean to hit you." She spoke quickly. I could tell she was being honesty.

"Its ok. No worries. I'm Annabella this is Jade and Ashton." I pointed to the respective people.

"I'm Bethany. Nice to meet you. Wait your the Annabella?" Well that's a new one.

"Um....." I wasn't sure what 'the' meant. Jade looked at me as if I didn't know. She clearly understood what was happening.

"Yeah she is 'the Annabella'" Ashton quickly spoke up. Well I guess i'm the only one who doesn't know.

"Oh, sorry. It's just that's all these idiots have been talking about. I don't get whats the big deal of you dating a member of 5 seconds of summer. But you know how are class mates are." I liked this girl. She spoke as if it was nothing and carried herself well.

"Oh that's what its about! Oh yeah I agree I don't get it and they are very much a bunch of idiots but what you gonna do?" She laughed at how I didn't really care about the people who wanted to treat me differently for a stupid reason if it could even be called that.

"You think we're not special?" Ashton suddenly asked. He put his hand to his heart to mock hurt. So he was flirting nice Ash nice.

"Its not a big deal. It's just a band. Nothing more nothing less." oooooo that was gonna burn!

"Well I see how it is." Ashton gave Bethany his back but tried to avoid Jade, so his position was a bit off. Realizing it he spoke again. "Never mind. Hi im Ashton. And you're really pretty. Want to sit together as we listen to my friend Bella here sing?" He put his arm around my shoulders as he mentioned me which brought me back to he reality that I was in fact going to have to sing.

"You sing?" Bethany asked.

"I will have to." I said bitterly towards Ashton for reminding me of the horribleness.

"Speaking of which, its time to go and get you set up!" Jade squealed but I could tell there was hurt behind her voice, most likely because of how Ashton was flirting with Bethany. Guess I better talk to those two later. Right now I had to face my biggest fear and sing.

"Now we sing!" I said as the four of us walked into the building that was to hold the humiliating event of me singing.

                                      HELLLLLOOOO....so I was like to apologize for not updating last week. It was a busy week and well I had zero time but this week I am updating and hopefully more than once. Here is the next chapter and I hope you guys like it!!
