Chapter 13-

Cora's Point of View-

Since Cody told me about the open mic night yesterday, I have been nonstop thinking about it. 

My nerves seem to be getting the best of me, and I feel jittery. Ah what's wrong with me! 

Well there's a lot wrong with me..... but that's a story for another time.

I was sat a table in the lounge next to Cody. I kept checking my cellphone for the time, because I knew that my time is at 10 o'clock. It's 9:45, and I'm so nervous I might shit myself! 

"It's alright..." Cody said taking my hands in his. "you're going to do great!" 

"Thanks.. but I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it up there without passing out!" I say, and he leans down, and kisses my forehead. 

"I promise you'll be fine." He says again. "I'll be here the whole time."

"Okay, I think I'm a little better." I may have said that, but it doesn't mean that I meant it. 

"Next up we have a good friend of mine, Cora Summers!" James said, since he is the announcer of each act. 

"Shit." I mumble under my breath, and I lowly stand, and move towards the stage. 

I picked up my guitar, and waked up the steps of the stage. 

I sat on a stool, and began playing, the whole time, not taking my eyes off of Cody. 

"What if I told you it was all meant to be? 

Would you believe me? Would you agree? 

It's almost that feeling we've met before

So tell me that you don't think I'm crazy
