You walk along the corridor with your sister Lily Evans. You were both sorted into Gryffindor at the beginning of the year and your best friend, not to mention crush, Severus Snape was sorted into Slytherin.
"LET ME DOWN POTTER!" You hear Severus's voice shout, oh God, James is at it again.
You race around the corner, Lily following at your heals, to find James Potter with his wand pointed at Severus who was currently hanging by his robes.
"Oh for God's sake, Potter, let the poor kid down!" You strut up to Potter and try to intimidate him, he was smaller than you after all.
"Why should I?" He asks squaring up to your face.
"Because I'll do this" you say before kneeing him right in... Well, that area. He doubles over in pain and Severus immediately drops to the ground. You raise an eyebrow at the rest of Potter's "posse" and they quickly grab James and scramble away, leaving you, Lily and Severus laughing.
"Thanks (y/n)" Severus says from beside you. You smile up at him. "Anytime Sev!" You say before pecking him on the cheek making his face flush red.
You start to walk away only for Sev to grab your wrist and spin you back into his arms.
"Not so fast!" He whispers and presses his lips to yours. You smile into the kiss and know that you were meant to be with Severus.
