George x Reader

You're a muggleborn student and you're in Gryffindor. One day you were sat in the Gryffindor common room listening to The Monkees, (You should check them out if you've never listened to/heard of them) when you felt a presence either side of you. You take your headphones out and look to the two boys sat beside you. Fred and George Weasley, two of the most popular boys in your year and  house. You had always admired them from afar, being the rather shy type, therefore had never talked to them. They were both tall and rather attractive and you most definitely had a crush on George. That's right, the girl they've never talked to can tell them apart, unlike the majority of the school.

"Can I help you boys?" you ask and they nod, smirks on their faces. You roll your eyes and laugh, "What can I help you with?" you ask. and Fred leans in closer to you, starting to whisper, "You're smart, right, (Y/N)?" you laugh, although you were shocked they knew your name. "Depends on why you're asking." This time George leans in and your breath hitches.

"We need help with a prank"

Somehow the twins had managed to get you to agree to a prank. They needed your help to make a potion that would turn Draco Malfoy's platinum blonde hair an illuminous shade of green and they'd given you the job to distract Draco and his cronies while they slipped it into his pumpkin juice. You're family were on rather good terms with the Malfoy family, although you have no idea why.

"D-Draco?" you stutter quietly from behind Draco. Both him and all of his little group spun around. He smiles politely although you can tell he's internally grimacing when he sees the Gryffindor badge. You were both rather close and had spent the holidays together before, although he had acted rather rudely to you once you had both joined the school, him a few years after you. Pansy Parkinson gives you a glare, "What do you want with my Dracy?" she snaps in her annoying drawl. You roll your eyes when you see Draco's pleading face, you looked around for the twins to find them nowhere to be seen. Harry had let them borrow the invisibility cloak once he found out why they wanted it, so they must be setting up the prank now.

"Well actually, Pansy, he's not 'your Dracy'" You say in an annoyed tone, "And I came to give him a letter, my parents sent it for him and his parents." I laugh at her disgusted face, before saying, "You look like a constipated frog when you pull that face, Pansy, I suggest you don't pull that face anymore."

"That was a good one, (Y/N)" you hear George say from behind you. He starts to drag you from the hall so you give Draco a quick wave, handing him the letter before allowing George to pull you away properly.

as soon as you were out of the great hall, you two were alone. "Where's Fred?" you ask. "In there" replies George, who looks strangely distracted.

"Are you okay, George?" you ask concernedly and George shakes his head. You place your hand delicately on his chest, "what' wrong, George?" He sighs exaggeratedly.

"Well (Y/N), there's this girl that I really like and I don't know what to do..." he murmurs. "Oh..." you reply, slightly upset, you had become very close to the boys recently and your crush on George had only developed further.

"You see I just want to kiss her and tell her how I feel and that she's beautiful, y'know? What do I do?" he asks almost pleadingly. "Do exactly that" I answer half heartedly.

"Well, (Y/N), I really like you, and you're beautiful, beyond perfect. Can I kiss you?" he says and you stand shocked for a few seconds before pulling him in for a kiss, which he returns immediately.

"I like you too, George"

Suddenly there was a large commotion in the hall and a loud shot of "MY HAIR IS GREEN" echoed through to where you and George were stood. You both laugh loudly before high fiving and kissing again.

I hope you guys enjoyed this! I wrote this instead of preparing and revising for my maths exam that I have tomorrow. I regret nothing.
