Fred x Reader

"Haha! I win again. Sorry babe, but it's going to take a lot of skill to beat this master" your boyfriend Fred says sticking his tongue out at you. You roll your eyes, Fred had just beaten you at another game of wizard's chess.

"Miss Lupin-Black, please come with me, it's highly important!" The voice of Professor McGonagall calls from behind you. You spin around and follow her immediately, confused as to why she would need you. As if she had read your mind, McGonagall whispers "your father is here Rebekah..." She says as she glides to a door pushing it open, revealing your dad.

"Sirius, here she is. Let me know when you must leave" McGonagall tells your father before leaving the room. He hurriedly pulls you into his arms. "Why are you here dad?" You gasp out in his tight embrace. Sirius sighs loudly, "It's your Dad." Your eyes widen. "He had-"

Suddenly the door of the classroom opens and two red headed twins and a much shorter boy with long dreads storm into the room. "What's going on here?!" George yells, "Would hate to ruin the party, Mr Lupin-Black, but my dearest girlfriend failed to tell us where she was going and we were so worried indeed, me especially. We used your map to find her" Fred says placing an arm around you and pulling you into his side.

"I'm sorry boys, but now is not the time. I need to speak to Rebekah. Alone." Sirius says looking at the three boys. You shake your head slightly, "Fred can stay, he already knows everything." Your father sighs but nods and the other two shuffle out of the room quietly.

"Bekah, my sweet, your father had a particularly bad transformation... He's in St Mungo's and oh... He looks awful. We have no information on how he'll recover." You sigh and place a hand over your mouth. Your father, the man who had raised you, was in a serious condition in St Mungo's hospital.

A tear escapes your eye as your mind immediately brings the worst case scenarios to mind. Fred pulls you to his chest your bottom lip wobbles. He kisses the top of your head before whispering "Shhhh, my love, he'll be okay. He's in good hands I promise."

You nod into his chest as he rocks you side to side, a technique he knows calms you down. You look up at him and he smiles, "how about you go and see him?" You nod slightly before whispering, "Only if you come with us."

You smile at your father as he lay awake on the hospital bed. He smiles back lazily, clearly dazed with medicine. "Rebekah! Fred! Sirius, my dear! How are you all?" Your dad shouts eyes drooping tiredly. You laugh before taking a seat in the chair on the opposite side of the bed to Sirius, Fred standing behind you with his hands on your shoulders. "Hello Daddy, how are you feeling?" You ask, holding his hand lightly. He grips your hand back, "I'm fiiiiine lovely!" He shouts before leaning closer to you.

"Do you know where I am?" He whispers in your ear and you laugh lightly.

Sirius decided to stay with his husband, your father, for the night so you and Fred were to get the train back by yourselves. As you sit in the carriage, you lean your head on his shoulders and drift off into a peaceful sleep, knowing that your father was perfectly okay.
