How did i not feel this way?

Peri's POV: oh my god! Tom is here in my arms on Christmas just like I hoped I did it! I made it here to be with him and I'm never going home or to what she calls home...

"Leela told me I wasn't allowed contact with anyone incase they found us I just wanted to spend Christmas with you! So I ran away and I'm never going back! Tom please don't make me go back" Tom looked at Steph then back at peri he could see the same twinkle in both of them "of cause I won't!" He replied in away that made peri feel safe "I got you a present just incase its in my room come with me!" Tom  had Steph in his arms still and held his arm out for peri to reach as he lead her to his bedroom  "I know this might make you feel awkward but could you hold Steph for me?" Peri suddenly froze but said "yeah I guess I'm still her mum?" Tom put the tiny baby in her arms whilst he pulled out the bag from his wardrobe, Steph grabbed hold of Peri's finger just like when jack told her she might do and suddenly all that love for her came flooding back to her she hugged her as a tear rolled down her face Tom turned around and couldn't believe what he was seeing!
