(Picture Of Kaito Tepes, Rose's older twin)
As the sun came up in the right blue sky, a pair of golden eyes groggily opened. The owner of said eyes, was none other than Rose. She sat up in bed and stretched, much like a cat and went to the bathroom in her room, to get ready for the day. Unlike most vampires, or at least some of her brothers, Rose loved the morning sunshine. She brushed her teeth, and went inside the bath to take a warm shower. Then she got dressed in a black floral lace pattern dress that stopped at midthigh, and black strapped ballet flats. Since her hair becomes curly when she gets out the shower, Rose let her hair down her back in little perfect ringlets. Satisfied with her appearance, she went to go do her schedule, which went like this: Shower, read in the library, make some sweets, clean mess in the kitchen, walk around the mansion, tend to mother's garden, and make breakfast for everyone. It wasn't much, but it kept her on her toes.
So she did everything on the list, but when she went to her mother's garden she was shocked to see Yui sitting on the garden bench. Rose slowly walked up to Yui and sat next to her, startling the poor blonde." Ah! Tepes San! Please forgive me! I didn't know someone else was awake." Rose only giggled and affectionately patted Yui on her head.
" It's alright Komori San. Besides, Tepes San is my father and elder brothers, please call me Rose or Tsuki." Rose said softly, while smiling at the now blushing blonde.
" Okay, but only if you call me Yui instead of Komori San." The blonde said boldly, making Rose giggle.
Rose nodded, making her curls bounce perfectly on her shoulders," Hai, Yui Chan." Said girl smiled at Rose and Rose smiled a smile that could brighten anyone's day.
The went to looking up at the bright blue sky in silence, a comforting silence." Ne Tsuki Chan." Yui started, but stopped once Rose's attention was on her.
" Hai Yui Chan?" Rose questioned softly. Yui began nervously twiddling with her thumbs, causing Rose to giggle.
" Is this your garden?" That question made Rose's eyes saddened, and Rose smiled half heartedly at Yui who was shouting apologizes.
" No." That answer caused Yui to halted her in her own rambling, and to look at Rose who was staring at white, red, and black roses that were budding in the garden. Rose's attention turned back to Yui and Yui was in awe at how beautiful and serene Rose looked in a garden of the very flower she was named after, while the sun made her silver hair glow brighter than it already was, and her golden eyes seem to light up with innocence and wonder, that it made Yui want to protect the innocent little girl from the horrors of reality and the paranormal, but Yui was really the one who needed protection. After a few seconds of silence, Rose continued to answer Yui's question." It's my mothers, or was. My elder brothers told Kaito and I that mother loved roses so much, that our father had every single rose in the world picked and brought here as proof that he loved her dearly. My mother loved the gift, but she felt ashamed that she took other people's happiness and hope, for that what she believed roses brought, so she had most of the flowers returned, until only one rose was left in the garden. The on the day I was born, not only was there a blood moon, but there were rose beginning to bloom everywhere in the garden. My mother named me Rose before she died, because she believed that I would be our family's hope, and happiness, or light in our darkest hour as father said she would put it." Rose patted Yui head, and began to lightly run her fingers through her hair.
" I don't get it." Yui spoke lightly. Rose hummed in response indicating her to continue." You said on the day you were born, but isn't Kaito you twin?" Rose laughed, a heavenly sound that sounded like wind chimes, or even bells twinkling.
" Kaito was born at 11:46 on December 24, I was born at 1:16 on December 25. As said before I am the youngest out of all my siblings." Yui's mouth was in an 'o' and Rose giggled at her childlike characteristics. As Rose continued playing with Yui's hair she spoke up" I like doing this. It feels as if you are my sister. I always wanted a sister, or any female figure in my life.' Rose said softly.
Yui looked puzzled'' But don't you have your brothers' wives? Your sister-in-laws?" Rose giggled and shook her head.
" My brothers aren't married, and they all claim that they don't want to be married."
" Why?" Rose paused to think it over and shrugged.
" Ever since I was little I would ask them and they would answer with,' Because if I married her then I wouldn't really love her and I wouldn't spend time with her, since the one I truly want is oblivious to my affections for her.' I still don't know what the words mean to this day." Rose did a twist and she giggled." There all done!" Yui's hair was in a braided type of bun with roses and other flowers woven in.
Yui smiled and hugged Rose so tightly, Rose herself was shocked, since the only person who she ever received hugs from was Kaito, Sano, o some of her older brothers when they were possessive in front of other males. Rose hugged Yui back with tears in her eyes." Can we do this everyday Tsuki Chan? I can even bring Yuki and maybe Rima or Ruka!" Yui asked, clearly happy that she had a female companion in the vampiric household. Rose nodded in equal excitement to finally have someone other than her brothers' company.
" I'd like that a lot." Rose smiled a bright, loving, warm smile and the two tended the garden together and Rose showed Yui how to plant and tend to the living vegetation, not knowing that multiple pairs of eyes from all four households were watching the two females, specifically the silver haired one the whole time.
