6. History Lessons, Waffles, And An Attack

After the siblings received the letter and the twins disappeared into the night, the vampires and Kaien,were sent with the rest of the Vladimira Tepes brothers to go to the study to discuss arrangements, while the non vampires like Yuki and Yui went to their room and comfort each other.

The guest all sat on chairs that were behind an oval like table. The Vladimira brothers however, all sat in specific thrones that were placed around the room. When Seiji sat down upon his throne, he ruffled his hair and said," Since someone is hunting our family down, I suspect that they would be sending Level E vampires to attack us more often now."

Zero looked at him with confusion in his lilac gray eyes," What do you mean they'll sent Level E to attack you more often now? Do they normally come here?"

Satoshi smirked at Zero, and answered for Seiji," You know what our father is right?"

Zero scowled," He's Dracula." Zero said in a duh tone, but Satoshi laughed and the other brothers followed suit.

" Our father is the king of everyone and everything of the paranormal." Everyone turned to see Rose standing in front of the door, with what seemed like a battle suit. She was wearing black skin tight leggings, a white corset, and black heeled boots.She even had a whip tied like some short of belt around her waist, and she wore a golden necklace, and two bracelets that were spinning on their own on her wrists. The guys' jaws dropped as Rose walked across the room to a nearby bookshelf, and her healed boots clicked against the tile floor. She put the book down on the table the guests were sitting at and turned to a page where a picture rest of a young man with black hair and crimson red eyes. The man looked like the Vladimira brothers, there was a resemblance between the men. Rose's eyes softened and she spoke in a hushed tone," This is our Father , when he became the king of all beings."

" I thought that Karl was the ruler of vampires." Yuma commented sassily. Rose smirked and turned to another page.

" Our father expanded his empire rather rapidly since at that time, many of the unseen wanted to prey on the flesh of mortals. Since his empire was expanding, he decide to divide the kingdom in to three pieces, one for the humans and two kingdoms for the paranormal. The ruler of the human world is The Vampire Hunter Association. My father gave the role as vampire king to Karl Heinz, and he gave rule to the demon lord, known as Satan. My father still rules over these kings, in fact if anything ever arises, my father will conduct a council meeting with the three rulers, and decide how to terminate the threat. Every year or so, many within our kingdom, vampires, demons, and hybrids alike wish to keep peace and coexist with the humans, so they take a vow to never harm a human being and they start new lives." Rose said as she shifted between pages and stopped on a page with a picture of a woman who looked like Rose, but the woman looked a little older, and Rose looked far prettier than the woman." This is a picture of mother, she is the one who encourage the peaceful interactions between us and the humans." Rose whispered sadly.

" What about angels?" Laito questioned in curiosity, Rose tapped her chin and shrugged while putting the book way.

" Angels, like the extinct Valkyrie are divine beings, messengers of the gods. They are ruled only by gods, they can't be told what to do. Angels are so divine that only they can have such heavenly wings. Angels are sworn to never mate with an unworthy human, since the child would turn into a half angel half human hybrid. So they mate with other angels in 'heaven', continuing the angelic race. There are few angels that start families, since they are considered god like creatures, they don't feel such desires." Seiji explained and Rose nodded.

" Basically Angels are too pure and powerful to control, and only one who possess a pure heart may see an angel, let alone gain angel wings." Rose said in a soft tone.Rose turned to Seiji and announced," Seiji, there is a huge herd of Level Es' and lower demons heading to the mansion. They'll probably be here tomorrow afternoon."

" How many?" Seiji asked in concern, and curiosity.

" I don't know exactly, it's a big herd, maybe about 14 or 16 thousand at the least." Rose said. She looked up at Seiji then to the window, and back to Seiji." Scratch that, I think they're already here."

" Go get'em tiger." Cedric said mockingly at Rose, who rolled her eyes, and opened the window.

She turned to Seii and said," I'll send Kaito back so he won't get hurt." Rose said, hen she transformed in to a white dove, and she flew out the window, on to the middle of the field. She gracefully transformed and stood with her whip in hand. She took a breath and waited exactly three minutes til Kaito came running from the watch out hill." Kaito go to the mansion , and protect the others." Roe said sternly, but Kaito shook his head, and took out a sword that was radiating a bluish black aura.

" I'm staying with you. Someone has to keep you out of trouble little sister."Rose smirked and cracked her whip as the herd came closer.

" Try to keep up Big brother." Rose said, as she dash into the herd, leaving nothing but a flash of silver. She cracked her whip at a level E and it turned to dust. The whole herd was almost done in a matter of seconds, and Rose was the reason behind it, since Kaito kept missing the vital parts of the intruders.Rose sighed, and pulled out a few daggers and an anti vampire gun, she threw the daggers at demons, and they all disappeared leaving the level Es' to deal with, so Rose loaded her gun, while Kaito protected her. She moved her and Kaito to a high branch on a tree, aiming at the herd, and she smirked." Bite this." She said as she fired the gun, immediately killing the herd, or what was left of the herd. Rose jumped down from the tree with grace and the big gun, transformed back into a bracelet, and it wrapped itself around her wrists.

" I'm just gonna leave you the next time, we're attacked." Kaito grumble while he pouted. Rose chuckled and kissed his cheek. Kaito blushed and the two were playfully bickering while they walked to the mansion, Rose was unaware of multiples eyes watching them walk back, but Kaito knew, that is why he wrapped his arm around his dear sister's waist and kissed her cheek, all while smirking.

~The Next Day~

Rose was preparing Waffles, eggs, bacon, and scones for Kanato and Daisuke. Surprisingly, Cedric woke up early, considering he is always the last one up and the laziest out of all the siblings. Rose smiled at him as he wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled her neck." Cedric Nii San, what are you doing?" Rose squeaked as Cedric licked her neck and tightened his grip around her waist.

" I'm hungry." Cedric said in a husky voice, making Rose blush, soon fangs plunged into Rose's neck, making her scent waft in the mansion's air. Everyone, or at least the vampires woke up and rushed to the kitchen, where the smell was coming from. Ayato ripped the door off it's hinges and they all saw Cedric draining Rose of her blood holding on her waist, while she prepared eggs. Startled by the guests, Ceric looked up at the intruders with red eyes, and blood pouring down his lips, while he smirked. Rose smiled weakly at the male and female vampires in the kitchen and continued her cooking.

" Breakfast is almost ready." She said, unfazed that somebody caught her brother feeding on her. Kaito sneaked up on Rose and took her wrists, while she was preparing the dishes. Startled Rose looked up and saw the hungry look in Kaito's eyes, and she offered her wrist to him. Kaito sighed and let go of her wrists, and walked to the dinning room, with the rest of the vampires.Rose thought that all the vampires looked pretty hungry, so she cut her wrist and sprinkled her blood over the vampires' food making the eggs and waffles/scones turn pink and the bacon turned dark red.She even put her blood in their juices and milk, making her extremely weak and tired. She came out with the food, and Cedric looked at her worriedly. She silently placed the plates down, and went to sit in her spot. Once the vampires took a bite of their food, their eyes turned red.They looked at Rose and figured that she put some sort of blood in their food.

" Rose Chan, did you put blood in the food?" Takuma asked. Rose looked up and smiled weakly at them and continued to eat her food, not wanting to speak in fear that her voice would fail her.

" Whose blood did you put in our food?" Kou asked in wonder and curiosity.

Rose opened her mouth and softly whispered," It's........my blood." Everyone looked at her worriedly, but she smiled, and Kaito put his wrist to her lips." I'm fine really." Rose said, but Kaito shoved his bleeding wrist in her mouth and Rose's eyes turned red. She licked his wrists, while looking into his eyes, and she gently plunged her fangs into his wrists. She took two big gulps of his blood, and she liked the remaining blood oozing out, and she kissed his wrist, instantly healing in." Thank you Kaito Nii." Rose said and Kaito nodded still blushing, while the male vampires glared at him.
