I slowly opened my eyes, hearing a snore, and felt an arm around my waist. I smiled a little to myself and looked down, noticing the familiar tattoos. Calum let out another snore and I began to peel his arm off of my bare stomach. I made the move to get out of bed when he grabbed my wrist, tugging me back to his chest.
"Mm, don't get up." He mumbled, keeping his eyes shut.
"It's already ten." I laughed and he shrugged, peeking an eye open at me.
"I don't care. You have to cuddle with me." He said, his voice laced with sleep.
I finally gave up and let him pull me close to him again. I peered up at him and began toying with his hair. Calum smiled a little and brushed his thumb across my cheek.
"Y'know, you snore." I teased and Calum rolled his eyes.
"No, I don't." He said and I laughed a little.
"Whatever you say." I snickered and Calum pulled himself on top of me. "Oh my god." I laughed, feeling something poke my thigh. "Calum," I swatted his arm.
"I can't help it." He whined. "Your boobs are right there."
"So?" I laughed and Calum kissed me, resting his weight on me.
I tangled my fingers in his messy hair and wrapped a leg around his waist. I pulled away after a while, feeling breathless, and Calum smiled, rolling off of me. I sat up and snatched Calum's shirt from the floor, tugging it over my head. Calum tossed me my underwear and pulled on his boxers, standing up. I threw my curly hair into a bun and made my way to the bathroom, getting my toothbrush out.
I brushed my teeth and Calum came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. I smiled a little, spitting out my toothpaste, and turned around in his arms. I took a deep breath and he smiled, running a hand through his dark hair.
"Wanna go get breakfast?" Calum asked and I nodded, slipping out of his hold.
We went to the bedroom and he tugged on his jeans and an extra shirt of his that I had. I put on a bra underneath the shirt I was wearing and pulled on a pair of jeans. I stepped into my converse and grabbed my room key and purse. I tucked the large shirt into my pants, pulling it out on the ends. We left the room and Calum interlocked our hands as we got on the elevator.
"Well, look what we have here." Annie smirked as we sat down with them, after getting coffee and muffins.
"How was y'all's night?" Michael asked and I smiled a little, taking a drink of my coffee.
"Good," Calum put his arm on the back of my chair and took a bite of his muffin. "What time do we have to leave today?"
"3." Annie answered and I poked around at my muffin.
We carried on conversation and I picked at my food, smiling and laughing when I needed to. We finished up and went back to the room to get our stuff. Since we were back in the US, Leah drives us behind the tour bus. I grabbed my bag and purse, making my way to the lobby.
"Hey, girly." Leah pulled me into a side hug and I smiled.
"Ready?" I asked and gave Calum a kiss before going to the car.
"Katie, I'm gonna ride in the bus. Why don't you and Calum take the car and we'll talk later?" Leah spoke up and I nodded.
"Yeah, sure." Calum ran over to the car and threw his stuff in the trunk, climbing into the passenger seat.
I walked to the car after bidding Leah goodbye and sat in the drivers seat. Calum tapped his thighs to an invisible beat as I started the car and gave me a smile. I plugged my phone up and let Fall Out Boy play through the speakers as we pulled out of the hotel parking lot.
"Have you ever seen them live?" Calum asked, motioning to my phone and I shook my head. "Man, they're so good."
"Y'all are the only band I've seen live." I admitted and took a peek over at him. Calum smiled a little and I pulled onto the highway.
"I'll have to take you to one, sometime." He offered up and I nodded, letting him grab my hand from across the center console. "If you could only listen to one band for the rest of your life, who would it be?"
"That's a tough one." I thought about it for a moment. "The 1975."
"Nice choice." Calum hummed and I pulled my left leg up to my chest, turning on cruise control. "Blink all the way for me."
"Good one." I smiled a little and kept my eyes on the bus in front of us.
"Hmm, what else do I not know about the wonderful Katie Drake?" Calum pondered, smirking over at me.
"There isn't much to know." I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel.
"What is your favorite food?"
"Mexican."
"Favorite color?"
"Grey." He gave me a funny look and I just shrugged. "I don't like color, if you couldn't tell."
"Gotcha." He nodded. "How many people have you slept with?"
"Including you, four." I answered, feeling my cheeks heat up. "You?"
"Including you, two." He said hesitantly and I looked over at him, shocked. "What?"
"That just surprises me." I said quietly. "You seemed pretty experienced last night for only having been with one other girl."
"I hope that's a compliment." Calum laughed, making me smile.
"Really good compliment." I nodded and his cheeks flushed as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Well, thanks." I looked over at him and Calum smiled, reaching over to rest a hand on my thigh.
"Uh-uh, we are not doing this again." I pulled his hand off of me and he just laughed.
"I'm not doing anything." He feigned innocence and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, please, you literally had your hands down my pants in front of my sister and your best mate. I'm pretty sure that they knew what was going on." I laughed a little, watching Calum pout.
"Well, I would be fine doing it again." He leaned over and gave me a quick kiss before I turned back to look at the road.
"Keep it in your pants, Hood."
