chapter -20- "I'll be home"

Meghan's POV :

I went downstairs , Ryan was the first person that I've seen in front of me .

"Ryan , is there a gift that was sent to me today while I was gone" I asked

"I think , ask mom" Ryan said

I went to my mom and dad's room .

They were asleep , I didn't want to wake them up so I left .

I went to Justin's room

"Justin , have you seen a gift that was sent to me today when I was gone?" I asked

"yea , mom put it somewhere" Justin said

"but she's asleep" I said

"I'm sorry , I don't know where it is" Justin said

I returned to my room , there is nothing that I can do , I will wait for tomorrow to ask my mother .

I was laying down On the bed thinking of Charlie , maybe I was harsh on him , maybe I should call him and apologize , then invite him to come here and we can spend Christmas together , he's going to leave to LA in the morning , I don't know what to do .

I fell to sleep .

Charlie's POV :

I was in my hotel room , talking to my self

"I can't fucking believe this , I apologized and admitted that it was my fault and she still doesn't want us back" I said angrily

"I came all this way for nothing , I don't understand did I do something wrong? " I said , I put my hands on my face

"I'm going to leave tomorrow in the morning" I said

I picked my phone , "maybe I should call her and apologize again ?!!" I asked my self

"what's the point I will just waste my time!!" I said and I threw my phone away hard .

"yeah I shouldn't have thrown my phone , now I need to buy a new one" I said angrily

"god why is this happening to me!!!?? " I said angrily

Meghan's POV :

/the next day in the morning/

I woke up , I went downstairs and I saw my mom

"mom where is the gift that Charlie sent me??!!" I asked quickly

"I've put it in your closet , I forgot to tell you about it yesterday on the dinner" mom said

"OK thanks mom" I said quickly and I ran upstairs into my room

I opened the closet and I grabbed Charlie's gift and put it on the floor .

I was feeling dumb because yesterday I was dying to find the gift and all this time it was in my closet .

I unwrapped it slowly , oh my god !!!!

It was a neon sign shaped 'm-train' , I plugged it into an electricity source and it glowed , it was amazing .

There was a letter attached with the gift , I picked it up and started reading it .

"happy Birthday my love ,

I'm sorry , I'm really sorry for everything that I've done and happened because of me , you were always loyal and kind to me , I realized that all of the bad things that happened to us are because of Me , Alison and her crazy sister , I brought Brian into our lives , your stair accident that's all was because of me , I can't undo these things , but I can make our future a better one , and I will , I hope you liked my gift , happy Birthday again my sweetheart , love you
Charlie"

Oh my god , what have I done ? , he apologized and still I rejected him , this is a big mistake I can't let him go.

I called Charlie on his phone but I couldn't get anything , why is his phone turned off ???

I kept calling many times and it was the same .

I called Charlie's manager asking him for the time of charlie's flight , I have two hours to get him back.

Can I make it ???!! , yes I'll try .

I quickly changed my clothes and called my private plane's pilot telling him to hurry and be at the plane right away !

I ran out quickly and went to my private plane .

"fly quickly to the newyork airport" I said

"why are you in a rush?" my pilot asked

"I need to get my husband before its too late" I said

"OK then" my pilot said

My pilot started the plane , then we flew off , I hope I reach in time .

Charlie's POV :

I woke up , I went and took a shower , I changed my clothes and ate my breakfast , then I hired a taxi and went to the airport .

While I was in the taxi , I was thinking about Meghan .

She must have seen my gift by now , she probably threw it away , I can't believe she's acting like this .

We arrived to the airport , I went inside and I was waiting in line .

I showed my passport then I was walking to the plane .

I was about to get inside the plane when someone was screaming my name .

I looked behind and I saw meghan walking down from the stairs of her private plane .

Meghan's POV :

I ran into Charlie .

"Charlie , don't ! Please don't leave" I said while breathing loudly

"Meghan , what are you doing here? " Charlie asked

"I realized that It was a mistake , yesterday that wasn't me talking , it was just the me-annoyed-because-you-left-me-alone-in-hospital-for-two-weeks talking" I said

"I'm sorry , I don't want you to leave , I'm sorry for blaming you for the loss of our baby , it was my fault too" I said

"so you came all the way from Nantucket in your private plane , to apologize" Charlie asked

"I tried calling you but your phone was turned off" I said

"yeah I threw it on the ground yesterday" Charlie said

"what? But why? " I asked

"I was desperate and angry" Charlie said

"I'm so sorry Charlie , I'll get you a new one for Christmas" I said

"OK , so this is the part when we kiss" Charlie asked

"I guess so" I replied

"OK" Charlie said

Charlie got closer to me and he kissed me , we kept kissing for a really long time .

So this is chapter 20 , I won't call this the end but I'm just taking a break from this story for a while , I'll write chapters slowly and figure out what happens next.
Meanwhile I will focus more on my newest story 'story of marlie' which is in my opinion the best one I've written , it doesn't have kidnapping or murdering drama and it has equal POVs of both Meghan and Charlie and it's more realistic , I published 5 chapters already today and more are coming soon so ya can check it thanks .
