Age 18

Today was the day. You were finally graduating from High School and you couldn't be more excited. Your parents were in the crowd but Calum was no where to be seen. You put that aside and focused on the actual ceremony. Your best friend Danielle was valedictorian, and was in the middle of her speech when you decided to look at the spot Calum was suppose to be in. Your mom looked at you with a sympathetic smile, and you knew.

...

"Y/N Hood!"

You walked over and shook your principal's hand, faking a smile. You had to pose for a picture and you decided to look back at that seat again even though you knew it was still going to be empty. You were right. You walked back to your seat, still smiling, and sat down, trying to hold back the tears forming in your eyes. He lied to you. He never lies.

...

It was 10 p.m. when you got home. Danielle had a party that you went to and had a blast completely forgetting that Calum missed your graduation. When you pulled into the driveway, all the boys' cars were there. You contemplated staying at a friend's house so you could have some time to think, but you brushed that idea off and took the keys out of the ignition. You locked your car and walked to the front door. You hesitated. You knew exactly what he was going to do. He was going to try to make you forgive him, and you would. You opened the door to be greeted by the laughs of 4 very loud boys. You walked into the living room, wearing your graduation cap and gown, and the boys looked at you.
"Hey Y/N, why are you wearing that? Graduation isn't till next week!" Calum said.
"Dude, it was today," Michael said.
"Nononono! It wasn't! Was it?"
"Yes, Calum it was! I can't believe you missed it! I was looking forward to you being there and you weren't! You're suppose to be my supportive older brother!" You yelled.
"Y/N I'm so so sorry! Can you please forgive me? I can't believe it was today and I forgot..." Calum cried.
You looked at him. On the one hand, he forgot one of the most important days in your life. But he is your brother.
You sighed, "Ok Calum. I forgive you. But you better not forget my wedding."
"Don't you need a boyfriend for that first?" Calum said with a smirk.
"Rude" You said as you playfully punched him in the arm.

...

The night went on with you and the boys playing video games together and watching movies.
