You and Calum had been trying to bake Mali a birthday cake all day. You wanted to make one from scratch, but you've gone through 3 batches already. You both pretty much suck at baking so your mom went out to buy a cake mix. As you cleaned up the pan, you turned around right and something connected with your cheek. You gasped and dropped the rag as you put your hand up to your throbbing cheek.
"Oh my gosh Y/N! I'm so sorry!" Calum said
"It's fine" You laughed as you finished cleaning your pan

You finished adding the last candle to Mali's cake. The boys had taken her out for the day, so she wouldn't know about the surprise party. As everyone started to arrive, you got a text from Luke, saying that they were heading back over.
"Everyone get in your positions!" You yelled, and drove behind the couch.
You heard the door open, and everyone jumped up
"SURPRISE!" You all screamed as Mali jumped.
"Jeez you scared me!" She said, placing her hand over her heart
You ran into the living room, and bought out the cake that you and Calum made

You all sang Happy Birthday, and Calum took the cake from you. He pushed Mali's head into the cake, and everyone cracked up laughing.
"Calum!" She shrieked as she wiped off the cake.

As the last of the guest left, you picked up the wrapping paper off of the floor. The boys were all passed out on the couch, and Mali had gone up to her room. Your parents had to run out to the super market for more trash bags. They also let the boys sleep over, since the curfew was 10 pm, and it was now 11.
"Y/N, it's time for bed" He said, as he walked you up the stairs
You sighed and went into your room, while Calum went into his.
