Calum's POV
The next morning
I woke up to a banging sound from downstairs
Wait, where's Leslyann?
I made my way downstairs to find someone banging on the door
I opened the door to find Leslyann standing there with the mail in her hand
"Sorry" She said as she rushed past me, wearing a scared expression
"Wait.."
But she was already in her room
She's terrified of me!
What am I going to do?
I guess I could try talking to her again
...
*Knock Knock*
"Please, go away!" She pleaded
"Open the door, I need to talk to you"
I heard her sigh as she unlocked her door.
"Okay, talk to me" She said as she walked over to her window seat and sat down.
I sat next to her and she scooted away
"I really screwed up, I'm the worst brother in the universe!" I said
"Yes, you have made so shitty moves, but that doesn't make you a bad person. It makes you human!"
"What kind of a human hits his sister?"
She sighed, "Calum, I forgive you. Just don't do it again, if you're stressed out, talk to me!"
We sat there in silence for a while
She smiled and turned to me
"You remember that one time when I was 4 and you were 9? It was storming out, and I was scared.."
Flashback
"Cal, I scared!" Leslyann shouted from her room
I ran into her room to find her huddled in the corner, shaking as lightning light up the room
"It's alright! I got an idea! Let's build a fort in the living room and we can watch a movie! How does that sound?" I asked as I held out my hand to her
She looked up at me, and wiped her tears with her sleeves, "Can I bring Mr. Winkles?"
"Sure!" I said as she grabbed my hand and we ran into the living room
End of Flashback
"Yeah" I smiled, "I remember that."
"Can we build a fort again?"
I smiled and stood up, "LETS GO!"
