Luke's POV
I was tapping my foot, impatiently. The boys were all here, along with my wife. Calum dropped Jack off at my mom's house.
"Family of Y/N Hemmings?" A nurse said
I jumped up and practically ran over to her, along with everyone else.
"She has burns all over her arms and legs, and she has a severe concussion from the blast, along with temporary deafness. She'll need physical therapy and will be in a lot of pain." She said with a sad smile.
"Can we see her?" I asked
"Only one of you can see her. The sedative should be wearing off by now"
...
I walked into her room. She looked so small. Her arms and legs were wrapped, and she had a bandage on her head, along with a black eye. Tears started to run down my face as I sat down next to her. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me, scared.
"Hi sweetie" I said as I lightly kissed her forehead.
She started to cry.
"Y/N what's wrong?"
"That stupid fire is all my fault! I left the stupid dish towel by the stove!"
"It's alright"
"NO IT'S NOT! I COULD HAVE GOTTEN SOMEONE ELSE KILLED!" She screamed
I carefully hugged her, shushing her.
"You're okay, and that's all that matters"
...
3 months later
Y/N is fully healed, and they finished fixing our house. Y/N still has night terrors, but we help her through all of them. The boys have been great as well. They let us stay at their houses until ours was done.
