Age: 17

Ariana's POV

My dad took me, my younger brother Tommy, and the boys to the beach. I am aquaphobic, meaning I'm terrified of water. I don't like the feeling of not knowing what's in the water with me. Only my dad knows. I stayed on the beach with my dad, while the boys and Tommy went into the water.

"Ariana, I'm going to get some ice cream, do you want any?" He said as he pulled out his wallet

"No thanks" I said as I turned my attention back to the book I was reading.

Luke came up to me

"Hey, Ariana! Come into the water with us!" He said

"No thanks Luke" I said as I waved him off

He frowned but then he smirked. Next thing I know, I'm being carried to the water. I screamed as Luke dropped me into the water. Luckily, it was the shallow end, but I was freaking out.

        "Ariana, Are you okay?" Michael asked

I started to walk backwards, scared. Little did I know there was a 10 foot drop right behind me. I couldn't feel the floor anymore, and screamed at the top of my lungs as I fell backwards.

I didn't know how to swim

I closed my eyes, waiting to run out of air

I needed to breath

So I did

Big Mistake

Ashton's POV

I returned with the ice cream, to find Ariana missing. I saw the boys in the water with Tommy and they were all looking at the same spot

"SHIT" I yelled as I dropped my ice cream and ran towards the water

"WHERE'S ARIANA!" I yelled at the boys

"She fell backwards.." Michael said, shocked

I dove in the water, to find Ariana just floating there. I grabbed her and resurfaced.

The boys, Tommy, and I all ran to shore

"Tommy go find a lifeguard!" I yelled as Tommy took off running

"She's not breathing!" Calum yelled

I started CPR, as the lifeguards approached. They took over the CPR, as I stood back, terrified.

After about 2 minutes, Ariana gasped and coughed up water.

We all sighed in relief

"Ariana, I'm so sorry!" Luke said

"Just don't do it again Hemmings" She warned

"Hey, Ariana, how about we don't tell your mother about this.." I said and she smirked

"Depends on how I feel when we get home"

Long story short, Trisha (my wife) almost killed me after Ariana told her about what happened.
