Michael's POV (He's 9 in this)
I kicked my legs as I waited in the waiting room. My mom is having my little sister, and i'm upset. I don't want another sister though! My mommy and daddy are going to ignore me! I sighed and looked up at the clock. 11:40 p.m.
It's way past my bed time!
My dad came out looking happy.
"Mikey, come meet your sister!" He said and I shock my head 'no'
"I don't wanna!" I whined
He knelled down to my level
"Michael, I know that you're a little jealous of your little sister. She needs a big brother to protect her from the monsters, and the bad guys. Can you promise me that you'll do that" He said and held out his pinkie
"I guess so"
"Alrighty, let's go"

We walked into a room, and saw my mom laying in a bed, cradling a pink blanket.
She looked up and smiled at me
"Hi Michael! Meet your little sister, Haylie" She said, and handed her to me
I looked down at her face, as she cooed at me
She grabbed my finger and opened her eyes
"Hi Haylie, I'm Michael your older brother! I promise you that when you get older, and if any boy messes with you, I'll kick his butt!" I said and she giggled
