RESCUE - Part 2

Chapter 25 - christmas time

I was woken up by jingle bells, the quiet tingling noise rustling near to ear, "mouse it's too early...we don't have kids anymore to be excited, it's just me n theeeeeeow!" The whole bed began to rock as mouse jumped up and down on top of me, one leg either side "DUDE!" "CHARLIEEEEE COME ONNNNNN SANTA HAS BEENNNNN" he pulled the duvet from my grasp, the cold air hit my lovely warm toasty body "ooh hello!" Mouse stood there looking at what the duvet had revealed, my little elf number, I pulled out the hat from my drawer and chucked him a Santa hat "come on...lets see what's in my stockings!" I walked past him, pulling my stockings up, the little bells on my skirt jingling, "well if it's anything like what's in those stocking I'll be happy!" He slapped my rear as we ran downstairs.

I turned on the lights "oh my god!" I stopped in my tracks "hello...." Summer raised her eyebrow at my costume "well...mum" Flynn smirked as Alex flicked his ear "CHARLIE JENKINSON!" Mother shrieked as she dropped the piles of pressies on the floor "er..er...shit er-" I grabbed a tea towel and held it up in front of my body "what are you all doing here?" "Wow hello! Lucky guy mousie" "JENSEN!" I grabbed another towel "YO JARED COME LOOK" he smirked as he shouted through the Hall "JAREDS HERE!?" "Charlie everyone is here" Thomas smiled as he held summers hand, by now my elf outfit had now been covered up by a new fashion...a tea towel dress..."did you know about this?" I leant into mouse "nope..." Suddenly summer bent over double "whoa hey!" The tea towels dropped to the floor as I went to her side "mum....I just peed myself..." She looked up "no babe....your water just broke" "WHAT!OH MY GOD, NO NO NO IM NOT READY NO WAY THIS IS NOT HAPPENING-" "SUMMER CALM DOWN!" I shuck her gently "I'm calm....I'm perfectly calm..." I looked at her "really?" "NO IM TOTALLY FREAKING OUWWWW SHIT THAT HURTS" mouse helped her "that's disgusting...." Flynn went wobbly at the knees before passing out "will somebody go see to fainty over there please!" I took summers arm and led her out to my car.

Driving like a bat out of hell through red lights and into the hospital carpark I ran to her car side, pulled her out and ran into the hospital "I NEED ASSISTANCE!" I yelled as mouse followed with tissues trying to wipe down summer who kept slapping her hand away, several doctors rushed over, took one look at me, "so how can I help you?" One doctor smirked "not me you numb Nuts! Her!" Once they'd managed to prise their eyes from my outfit they went into panic "CODE JESUS!" They ushered her away "code Jesus? Muuuuuum!" Summer squealed as I got ushered the opposite way "Charlie, she'll be fine, come with me I'll sort you out some scrubs, with these doctors, trust me, it's their dream come true you're even here, the fact you're in a skimpy elf outfit!" "Fair enough" she led me into a room, gave me some scrubs and left the room.

As I walked out the room, my ass jingling from the outfit underneath I walked towards the front desk "excuse me where is Summer Jenkinson?" "I'm sorry we don't have time for that, you're needed In theatre" "THEATRE? What's happened with summer!?" "Like I said no time, it's an emergency you need to go now...theatre room 2 GO!" "SHIT OKAY!" I ran towards the room where the signs pointed to, "ah you're hear, get this on your head, go wash your hands" I did as I was told and walked into the room "summerrooooohh my god" I gagged slightly "we don't have time to be sick come and hold this guys stomach whilst I get out this screwdriver!" The dude shouted at me as I walked over and held it "ITS SLIMY!!!!!" I squarely as I continued to gag "I'm gonna throw up....there's been a big mistake!" They ignored me and continued to pull out the screwdriver....blood squirted out covering me "that's disgusting....imma be sick I need to go...hold this!" I passed over the intestines and ran out the room towards the desk again "what on earth!?" I grabbed a hold of the young male nurse on the desk, my bloodied hands gripping his shirt, "do I need to call someone for you..a psych maybe?" "The only person who is going to need a psych around here is you if you don't tell em where my daughter is!" "Name?" "SUMMER JENKINSON" "room 4" he pointed down the hall where a loud scream echoed from "Thankyou!" I kissed him before running down the hall and burst into the room "oh thank god your here...what the hell happened? Who you killed?" "Nearly the receptionist, I'll tell you later!" I stripped out of the bloodied clothes and went to summers side.

She had hold of my hair and crushing my fingers, Thomas was out cold in the corner with jared fanning him, Jensen was breathing with mouse I was with summer "okay babe breath...it's okay-" "HOW WOUDLD YOU KNOW?!" "BECAUSE IVE HAD THREE KIDS! I THINK TJAT GIVES ME SOME RIGHTS TO SAY YOU'LL BE FINE!" "Can we please stop shouting at the patient-" "SHUT UP!" We both shouted at the doctor as summer bit down "ow babe fingers! Fingers!" "I can see its head! Okay summer three more pushes....one....two...three!" We shared a scream as the doctor whisked the baby away to clean it up "that's my baby! That's my girl!" I hugged her head to my chest "is it okay? Please tell me it's okay!" We suddenly heard a thud "what was that? Did they drop my baby?" Summer fought to sit up "no sweet....that was your dad...he's not great in childbirth" "here's your baby girl" the doctor smiled as he brought her over "can I...can I hold her?" "May be a good idea" the doctor smiled as he handed the baby over, summer took her in her arms and carefully brought her to her chest "mum look!" "Yeah babe" I wiped my tears away quickly "have you...have you got a name?" The doc smiled "yeah...Bruce" "b...Bruce...." I looked at the gorgeous baby in her arms "you sure she's a Bruce?" Summer looked at me "seriously....you think I'd call her Bruce? Don't be stupid! We decided Lucie" not gonna lie...breathed a sigh of relief "lucie is lovely...now she shel thy what we'll do is send your family home and they can pick you up about 4? That okay?" "That's fine, I'll see you later-" I dragged mouse out the door "Infact mum...can you stay?" I looked at the doc who looked at Thomas in the corner, then at mouse "yes I'd say that was wise" the doc smiled as jared, Jensen both dragged out the lads as I stayed with summer.

Four came, I drove us home "mum....what if I don't do this right?" "How can you possibly go wrong?" "I'm scared..." "It's okay to be scared, I was with Alex...but you just, get on with it, it comes naturally, and hey, I'm her to help if you ever need it...now come on, we have a lot of presents to unwrap!" She smiled as she got out the car, took Lucie out with her as we stepped inside the house, everyone was there, mouse had cooked Christmas lunch with jared and Jensen, everyone was waiting for us, summer handed lucie over to Thomas who looked petrified, as mouse came over to me "I gotta say...you have got to be the sexiest grandma I know!" He whispered in my ear as I held a glass of bubbly "not too bad yourself grandad" I smirked as he looked at me "there's mistletoe above our heads" "so there is" "it's be rude not too..." He grinned at me as he came close "I love you" "I love you too" he smiled before kissing me softly.
