RESCUE - Part 2

Chapter 34 - magic does it for you?

Head on desk, arms as pillows, I was taking a fifteen minute break from being rushed off my feet all morning saving peoples asses, i didn't mind saving people, it was my job after all, but when you were saving the same six people, because they didn't listen and they thought they knew better...it gets a tad annoying...

As I began to drift into a light sleep, I heard someone knock on the door, mouse answered it, I heard him sign for the delivery and close the door behind him "Charlie these are for you" I lifted my head up, Mouse, stood there holding the biggest bunch of my favourite flowers I'd ever seen, each flower with a single gem in the middle, I took the flowers from him as I stood up, Maxi, whip and itchi walked in for lunch "wow, dude what you done for you to give Charlie those!" Itchi smelt them before the lads gathered around me "that's exactly what I thought...." I narrowed my eyes at him "I haven't done anything!" "If you've bought me these flowers because you've got my mother hidden away somewhere, these stalks are going to go up somewhere the sun don't shi-" "Charlie! I didn't get you those flowers" "so who-" "I did" we all spun around to face the open door behind us "Jake!" "Hey Charlie" He stood there, casual clothes, his ruffled hair, piercing blue eyes, slight stubble, tanned skin, that bloody smirk "miss me?" "No. Not in the slightest! I want you to take these and go away!" I pushed the flowers into his arms and walked down the beach towards harries.

Jake was close behind "come on Charlie, take the flowers!" "I don't want the flowers" "why?!" "Because they're from you!" I carried on Stomping down the beach "excuse me can I have your autograph?" "Sure you can sweetie there you go!" I smiled as I handed her back her ball and carried on stomping "see you've still got that cute little strut you used to have" "I do not Strut!" "Hey will you slow down a minute! STOP walking!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him, close "back off" "just talk to me" "I don't wanna talk to you, I haven't wanted to talk to you since I walked in on you shagging my best friend!" I went to walk again, but his hand was firmly on my arm "I said I was sorry about that, what can I do to make it up to you?" "What can you do?" I smiled at him, fluttering my eyelashes, and placing my hands on his shoulders, he smiled at me as he came close to my face, before bending over double where I'd kneed his groin "you can FUCK OFF back to America" he was gasping, still holding the stupid but gorgeous flowers, "glad to see you still have your strong kick!" He stood up straight holding his manhood "I've still got my good right hook too if you're willing to hang around" he was in too much pain, I walked away to harries and sat in rhino "do I wanna know what that was about?" "An ex..." "Bloody hell don't let me get on the wrong side of you!" "Charlie hear me out!" Jake rested on rhino, "I don't want to!" "Charlie-" "I don't want anything to do with you, you could be drowning and I still wouldn't want to listen to you" "fine. I get it....okay" he took off his top shirt, and laid the flowers on top, "please don't start stripping" "I'll make it rain for you jakey" harries began to clap "don't encourage this!" We then watched as Jake ran out to the sea, as fast as he could, running in, fully clothed, until his head disappeared "Charlie?" "You've got to be kidding me!" "HELP MEEE!!!!!" He screamed from the water "I'm gonna kill him, I'm gonna save him and then I'm gonna kill him!" I jumped out of rhino, grabbed a blue board and paddled out, dragged his ass onto the board "you bastard! you still can't swim what were you trying to do kill yourself?!?" I punched his arm and paddled in.

With help, harries had brought him upto the tower and sat him on the bed, I placed a mask over his face and a towel around his body, I was still dripping from the dip, "you...YOU ARE INSANE!" "Got your attention though huh" he laughed as he took off the mask "PUT IT BACK ON!" I grabbed it and shoved it back on his face, and pulled the green elastic so it stung the back of his head "stay there, I'm going to go get a new towel....STAY PUT" "yes miss" he winked at me as I made my way back up, most of the lads were stood there smirking "WHAT!?" "My god what did he do to you?" "Who jake? He cheated on me" "cheated on you?" "She caught me shagging her best friend" he stood there drying his hair with the towel "I TOLD YOU TO STAY DOWN THERE!" "I heard my name" "I was talking about you, not to you!" "Why'd you fall for him?" Mouse raised an eyebrow, the other lads looked amused as jake suddenly produced this silver wrapped box, soaking wet of course where he'd gone for a dip and handed it too me, I opened it, it was empty "what's that behind your ear?" Jake smirked as he showed us a bracelet after touching my neck "she loved my magic" he placed the bracelet around my wrist, "well you think you could make yourself of dissapear?" I looked at him before grabbing my purse "I need cake, I'm going to get cake, make sure he is gone by the time I get back!" "I'm coming!" Whip and Itchi grabbed their phones before walking out the door with me.

As you can imagine, the conversation that we'd had, "so....magic does it for you then huh?" "Shut up" "I bet sex was great" "RYAN!" "Well I guess he managed to make his di-" "SHUT UP RIGHT NOW" I walked into the cake shop "give me the whole red velvet please!" "The w..the whole thing?" The waitress looked at me "yep! The whole thing, you guys want anything?" "Two coffees please..." I handed over the money after buying a few more buns and we walked back to the tower, inside we could hear cheering.

Jake, standing there in the middle, with a pack of cards showing off his tricks "I'm sorry, what did I not make clear about I didn't want him to be here when I got back?" "We know Charlie but this guy is great! The tricks are amazing". Mouse kept watching Jakes hands, watching carefully, I flopped on the chair and took out the cake, the guys looked over "nice choice Charlie!" "What you think you're getting some?" Everyone walked over, including Jake "and now...for my own magic trick...I can make a whole cake dissapear!" "No way in hell are you gonna eat that whole cake to yourself" maxi raised his eyebrows, the lads agreed, mouse and Jake stayed silent "okay...I bet you all twenty dollars each I can eat this whole thing" "you're on!" The lads nodded as they sat and watched "guys I'd get your wallets out" jake stood there smirking as mouse nodded...

Half an hour later I sat fanning myself with their money "how...where...where'd all that even go!?!" Itchi kept repeating, still in shock at my cake eating skills "you have him to thank for that" I looked to Jake who sat down looking through the binoculars "whys that?" Mouse looked at me "when she caught me, she turned to cake, never gained weight, but that's all she ate! And my god could she eat cake, she'd polish an entire triple layered chocolate cake in one sitting, then finish off with ice cream" "wow Charlie! You've just gone up in my hot list!" Maxi smiled proudly at me "oh....oh lucky me!"...
