*2 Weeks Later Saturday Morning*

I haven't spoken to Tyler nor Ruby since what happened at the galleria. At lunch I would either ignore Ruby or just go to a class and do extra work; the classes I had Tyler for I would just ignore him and when he would walk to me I would turn the other way and talk to the person next to me. As for my aunt she has gotten worse and worse she was expected to live for only 2-3 days but she beat that; over the past two weeks she has not spoken to me at all, she does not acknowledge my presence, when I try to talk to her she turns her head the other way. It hurts me each and every time she does this; I even cried last night to my mom asking why she doesn't talk to me, even my mom didn't know why.

"Destiny." I barely heard it; it was a soft voice so fragile. Looking next to me I saw it was my aunt talking to me.

"Mommy! I love you!" I exclaimed

"I love you, too. Get me water? And where is everybody the house is quiet." She asked

"Anything for you and mom and dad are at work they get out around 8 tonight and all the girls are at Kristina's house." I grabbed her water and gave her some. "Mom why weren't you talking to me?"

"What are you talking about?" she asked

"You don't remember?"

"No Mija I don't." I could tell she felt bad because she didn't remember

"It hurt me so much when you didn't talk to me I cried so many times because you wouldn't talk to me but you would talk to everyone else. It's ok. Want to know why? Because the lady who was here, wasn't my mom. You were gone somewhere but now you're back." I said smiling as tears fell down my face.

"I'm so sorry Mija" she said in a fragile voice "I'm not going anywhere I promise I will stay here I'm not leaving you again."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

"Good! Now get some rest you need it."

"Destiny. . ." called my aunt out again.

"Yeah mom?"

"Do me a favor if I do go, stay with Tyler don't let him go. He is a good guy."

"Mom we aren't boyfriend girlfriend! Heck we aren't even friends."

"Still even if you guys aren't make sure you at least stay friends. He is a good guy and I think he likes you. "She said smiling; causing me to blush at the thought of Tyler liking me.

"Mom he doesn't like me he likes Ruby and Ruby likes him." I said explaining to her.

"Whatever you say Mija I'm tired see you when I wake up si dios quiere."

"si dios quiere mommy." I said smiling. *BUZZ* taking out my phone I saw two new text messages.

Babe?

Oh now she is talking to me? It's been two weeks and now she wants to talk?

To: My Cookie! (Ruby)

After I pressed send I check to see who the other message is from

From: Dumbass

Destiny can we talk? -Tyler

Great what does he want?

What Tyler?
