It's now 8 a.m. I have been up since 4 I couldn't go back to sleep; I was scared to. My mom and dad are out getting food for us I'm home alone with my sisters who are asleep and don't know the current situation. I'm just sitting here wondering what is there after you die. Where do you go? Is there a line to get up there? My ringtone brought me put of my thoughts without checking the caller id I answered.
"Hello?"
"Babe what happened? Why aren't you coming to school?"
"Babe. . ." started off hesitant "Tia left home this morning around 4. Meaning she passed away and now she is with my grandma." I said as my voice cracked
"Oh. . ."
"Yeah so tell your mom and your brother and the twins." I barely said aloud
"I will babe. Whens the funeral?"
"Wednesday is the viewing and Thursday is the burial. Bye ma love you."
"Love you too babe." With that we hung up and I just lay on my bed looking across the room at my aunt's bed where she laid not too long ago. As my eyes started to become heavier I was startled awake by my sister Aundrea.
"Destiny where's Tia?"
"Hey Dre! Are the other girls awake?" I asked wanting to tell them all at the same time.
"Yes except Abby she is still asleep."
"Ok well go get them but leave Abby alone." I said and shooed her off to get the others.
She returned back with Alexis and Maresa. "Come here guys." I patted the spaces around me and put Maresa on my lap.
"Where's Tia?" asked all 3 of them in unison
"Remember how Tia was sick? How she could barely talk. Well now she is in heaven with her mommy and daddy." They all looked at me unsure to what I was saying. "Babies Tia is gone now. She is not coming back anymore." A few seconds later they all broke down crying and sobbing, I trying my best to not do the same but to be strong for them.

It's around 1 so that means it's 5th period and Tyler has been texting me nonstop asking why I'm not at school, each time he texted me I wouldn't reply I was in no mood to talk to anyone. I wouldn't even talk to my own mom. Throughout the whole day I received texts saying 'are you ok?' 'Why aren't you here?' and so on. I replied to no one; no one could help me. I know what you're thinking 'Destiny everyone has a close family member who has past you'll get over it' truth is you probably don't know how I feel; you may understand but you don't know.
I've been locked up in my room for a few hours now I refuse to come out; my mom sent my sisters over to Kristina's house and left me home alone because her and my dad had to get things ready for my aunts funeral. Life has a sick sense of humor, right when everything was ok, I was ok, and life rips my most prized possession away from me. Right when I was about to go to sleep I heard a knock on the door checking the time to see it was only 5:30 I went to check who it was. Looking through the peephole I see a rather distressed Tyler.
"Go away Tyler!" I yelled through the door
"No not until you let me in!" he yelled back (damn even when he is distressed he is hot). Sighing I open the door and as soon as he gets in the house and closes the door he bombards me with questions.
"Calm down!" I exclaimed and then went walking to my room. Looking back I just saw Tyler standing there unsure of what I was doing. "Well if you want answers you better follow me because I rather show you than tell you." I simply stated. As we got into my room I shut the door. "What do you want Tyler?"
