"Leave me alone Tyler!" I exclaimed walking away from him
"Let me explain" he said grabbing my arm.
"Get away from me." I said growing angry
*4 hours before*
I just said goodbye to both my parents and my sisters; heading back to my room I got a text from Ruby
From: My Cookie! (Ruby)
Good Luck! I know how much you hate parties! :) love you babe! <3
Smiling to myself I decided to not text back, going into my closet to find something to wear. Searching my closet from top to bottom I finally found a nice pretty dress; it was a white strapless sweetheart dress, tight on the top and flows once it hits the waist it, stops right above my knee. Perfect.
Sitting down at my mirror I took out my curling iron along with my make-up. Finishing up my hair the iron slipped, catching it before it could fall to the ground, causing me to burn myself. Great.
Covering it up with a bandage I started on my make-up; putting on a light layer of foundation with a bit of brown eye shadow along with the usual eyeliner and mascara. Right when I was about to start putting up my things my phone went off.
"Hello" I answered
"We are late, come downstairs and hurry." Stated Tyler. What's stuck up his butt?
Heading downstairs with my tan wedges in my hand I grabbed my keys and my wallet. Getting in the car I noticed Tyler couldn't keep his eyes to himself. "See something you like?" I said smirking.
"You look really pretty tonight buttercup." As he said this I saw a sparkle in his eyes.
"Thanks I said turning my head to hide the blush forming on my cheeks. "Tyler?"
"Yeah."
"Why me?" I asked
"Why you what?" he asked confused
"Why did you pick me to play that stupid game with?"
"Umm. . . " he started off growing nervous
"I know it's over, right? I just wanted to know why the hell you would pick me."
"Well I just picked you. I don't know why I did I just did. You could say it was destiny." He said smiling relaxed at the thought of me thinking the game was over.
Entering the big house, no big was an understatement ginormous was more like it. Everywhere I turned there was either a couple making out or dry humping against a wall, as much as I hate to say it, it was a typical high school party. It was barely 10 and most of everyone here was drunk off their ass or higher than a kite, wow dumbasses have no life.
"Want a drink?" asked Tyler
"Sure. Why are we here?"
"To have fun Buttercup." He said passing me a drink "Ease up."
"What is this?" I asked eyeing my drink
"Malibu mixed in with sprite. Mine is Pepsi mixed in with scotch."
"Whoa! I'm not drinking then, there is no way I'm letting you drink and drive."
"Fine I won't drink." He said putting his drink down "now ease up and enjoy the party." He said as he wrapped his arm around my waist bringing me in closer to him.
*20 minutes later*
"Have you seen Tyler?" I asked some blonde girl I recognized from Algebra. I lost Tyler like 10 minutes ago when I went to the ladies room and not to mention all the looks I have been getting from guys, it's starting to creep me out; my dress isn't that revealing they act as if I have a sign on my forehead that says 'Bang Me'. Anyways I have looked just about everywhere I could think of for him and I still haven't found him.
