Stupidity

*(Next Morning at school with Tyler)*

Walking into school I heard everyone start to whisper and I also felt everyone's gaze on Tyler and me. I could say I didn't care what they were saying but then I'd be lying; it was killing me to know what they were saying I just hope it wasn't about me. "Tyler!!" wincing at the sound of her voice "Where have you been? I missed you babe!" she then attached her lips onto his. By the looks of it he was getting into the kiss, walking away from the horrid sight I ran into Kyle.

"Damn it." I said feeling my head "why do we always run into each other like this?"

"I do not know." He said chuckling "why aren't you with Tyler?"

"Jenna is sucking his face and I didn't want to intrude he looked to be getting into it. Why aren't you with Ruby?"

"We were never together." He said smiling

"But at Main Event and then at lunch . . ." I said confused

"She agreed to do it because we wanted to get this one dude jealous; none of it was real."

"Seriously?" I said with a blank stare "jealous? Why?"

"Destiny please tell me you don't believe Tyler I heard he said he was done with the game but he is no good for you. He will only hurt you." He said avoiding my questions. Before I could respond Tyler appeared next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Where did you go?"

"Well you and Jenna seemed to be going good together back there so I just decided to let you have your privacy in front of the whole school."

"I was trying to pull her off of me, but I couldn't. When I did I told her whatever she and I had was over and that I'm with you now."

"Whatever Tyler." I said brushing off his arm "I'll see you in algebra Kyle." I said walking off to my first period

*Lunch*

I have been a zombie all day, for no reason I have just blocked out everyone I barely did my work. I don't know why I feel like this. It just came all of a sudden. I have no idea what is happening at the lunch table until Ruby hit me.

"What the hell?"

"You've been staring at Tyler's table since lunch started!" she exclaimed. Have I really? "Right babe?" she turned to Kyle

"She knows Ruby; you can stop calling me babe." He said smiling

"Thank god! It was starting to feel weird."

"Where's Vanessa?" I asked noticing she wasn't here

"If you were paying attention you would know that she went to the guidance counselor to get advice about college." Answered Ruby. Nodding my head I went back into zombie mode just staring and thinking; would Tyler hurt me again? Would he be that stupid to?

"Buttercup."

"What?" I asked turning next to me to find Tyler, when did he get here

"What's wrong you have been a zombie all day."

"Nothing." I stated

"Mr. Spencer says when a girl says 'nothing' it's something; that you girls always mean the opposite of what you say." He stated

"You're really quoting our 7th grade teacher?"

"Yes, now tell me what is wrong."

"That kiss it really bothered me and I don't believe you told Jenna to back off."

"You don't trust me?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows together. Sighing I looked at Ruby and she looked even more interested in my answer than Tyler was; she knew that once someone loses my trust it's hard to regain and Tyler already lost it and hasn't gained it back. "No Tyler I don't fully trust you. And relationships are built on trust." Getting up signaling him to follow me.
