Do I Forgive Too Easily?

"I'm pregnant." She stated. Did she just say what I thought she said? She said she was pregnant "What the fuck!" I cursed

"I am sorry I just don't know who else I could go to." She said tears in her eyes

"So you come to me the one who beat you up and strongly doesn't like you?" I asked raising an eyebrow "wait who is the dad?" I asked becoming nervous of the possibility of Tyler being the baby's dad.

"Don't worry." She said now slightly crying "it's not Tyler."

"How are you so sure?!"

"Because we didn't have sex-"I cut her off before she could finish "I heard you guys!"

"Well because we were doing other things but we never got to the, you know actual thing." She said looking down once again. Relief washing over me I hugged her "what was that for?" she asked surprised

"For not being a bigger slut than I thought you were." I said laughing a small laugh "then who is the dad?" I asked now curious

"It is Daniel Roberts."

"Daniel? The one on the football team?" I asked now full blown shocked; we all used to be really close friends but we drifted apart once high school came along. I occasionally talked to him and when we did talk we would reminisce about what we used to do as kids; out of all people I am glad it is him. He isn't a jerk; he is kind; it's just that when you get him mad he turns into someone completely different.

"I know! I don't know how I am going to tell him." she said now crying, again

"It is ok." I said comforting her "we will get through this; Jenna why did you come to me?" I asked curious out of all people she came to me

"because I knew that you would accept me and try to help me out; and because none of my so called friends would help me they just laughed at me and said good luck" she said "I am just glad we are friends again Destiny."

"I think I am too." I said laughing "I will see you at lunch tomorrow; when are you going to tell him?"

"Tomorrow at lunch by ourselves." She stated softly

"Good luck Jenna." I said giving her small smile "if you need anything just text me or call me; I will be here." I said turning away to get Alexis then to my car.

*Next Day (Wednesday)*

. Looking around the cafeteria I spotted Jenna and Daniel, she was starting to say something and the more she talked his emotions changed. It started off scared then mad, then from mad to shocked, then from shocked to what seemed happy? Why is he happy? Getting up to see how it went, I saw him pick her up and spin her around.

"Hey Jenna." I said giving her a small smile "how did it go?"

"Ask him." she said smiling

"Waits Destiny you knew?" he asked shocked "why didn't you tell me in 3rd period? And since when did you guys become friends?"

"It wasn't my secret to tell and I didn't have the right to; and yesterday in the galleria parking lot." I said smiling

"Wow, this is just like old times." He said smiling wrapping his arm around Jenna

"You could say that; ok well I got to get back to my table I just wanted to make sure everything was ok." I said turning away "Jenna if you need anything you know where you can find me." I called out. I am not going to lie I am glad that everything is working out for Jenna right now; you all are probably thinking why did she forgive her so easily? Jenna did some messed up things to her and she forgave her like that; I forgave her because she needs someone right now. She needs a friend and I will be her friend. I will be there if she needs it; I guess you can say I forgive people too easily. I don't understand why I do; I just feel that holding a grudge isn't worth the stress.
