I woke up to Dani yelling at someone. It was a lady dressed in scrubs. Hospital. I'm at a hospital. She's good at lying so Liam won't find out. I don't even know how I got here or how we all got out of the house alive.
"No lady! She got fucking jumped! How many damn times to I have to explain this?" Dani screamed.
"It's true." James said, to back her up. He leaned down and whispered something to Dani.
James looked over and saw me trying to sit up. It's dark out, how long have I been out? The fact that it's taken the nurse, or whoever it is, this long to ask, what happened, amazes me. Some people are just stupid.
"Can't fix stupid..." I said to myself.
James looked at me and smiled as he helped me sit up. My head really hurts. I mean, I always have a headache anyway, but this is worse. It feels like I'm being stabbed over and over again, right in the side of my skull. I try to put my hand on the spot that hurts, but James grabs my hand so I can't move it to my head.
"It hurts." I point out.
"Yeah I know, you got jumped." He says, trying to fill me in on their lie.
"I don't remember much of it." I say, trying to avoid questions the nurse obviously wants to ask me.
"What do you remember Hun?" The nurse says. Her name tag says "Victoria".
"What do people call you?" I ask. James laughs and I know Dani realizes I'm still me now.
"What?" Victoria asks confused.
"You heard my question, answer mine and I'll answer yours." I say, kind of bitchy.
She rolls her eyes and forces a smile.
"Vicky, Victoria, I don't know. Lots of things I guess." She sounds annoyed.
Colt walks in with Jason. They both smile at me and Jason runs over to hug me. I lean up really fast and get dizzy. I don't care though, I can tell he's worried.
"Be careful, she just wo-" Vicky tries to get the rest out.
"Oh my god, just shush! Please!" Jason sighs. " You have no idea how much this little ass kicker can take!" Jason interrupts her and smiles at me.
Victoria looks annoyed, I almost feel bad. More than anything, I want to laugh. I think it's funny how annoyed she is. You'd think she gets this kind of shit a lot, working in a hospital and all. I think I should answer her question. I know the story Dani told her, we had one ready in case something like this happened. I got jumped by a bitch who's had it out for me for years. End of story.
"Please just answer my question Alice. What happened?" Victoria declares, she seems like a stubborn person.
"Fine, a deal is a deal I guess. I don't go back on my agreements." I know I'm a bitch, I've always been like this.
"Thanks!" Victoria can be a bitch too I guess.
"Yeah, whatever. Anyway, this bitch who's had it out for me for a few years, she jumped me. Her and a few friends. End of story. No, I'm not pressing charges, she got what she wants and now it's over. Now we can all live our lives in a smoky wonderland!" I smile at myself and she looks very irritated.
"Smoky wonderland is right..." Victoria says under her breath.
"Yes, it is right. And I thoroughly enjoy my damn wonderland. I'm the queen of it, you could live in the kingdom, but you remind me a lot of myself. I don't need another bitch around to try and test my judgement and shit..." I said I can be a bitch, guess she's gonna understand now.
