She's really pretty. Her name is Alice. She's a sophomore at Ridgemount High School. From what I know, she's an honor roll student. I'm not sure how though, she skips a lot from what I heard. I think it's kind of hot though, the whole bad girl vibe. I didn't know she smoked either, not until New Year's Day. She was drunk during the time I was at the party, it was a pretty good party. She was dancing to some songs by Tove Lo when I got there, she looked amazing. She had her eyes closed, she was completely, and happily lost. The smile on her face was priceless and beautiful.
When the second Tove Lo song came on, she looked at this guy who was with her, I thought he was her boyfriend at the time. They smiled at each other and then she ran to him and jumped on his back. She got situated and let go with her arms. He held on to her though, he seemed to care that she didn't fall. He looked up at her a few times, he was mesmerized. After that song, they went outside and swam. I smiled at her as she walked out, she saw me and smiled back.
She came back inside after swimming in nothing but a bra and underwear. She walked inside with a white shirt on, it was soaked and the sides were cut out. She was carrying her phone and jeans in one arm, and getting a beer with another. She opened it with her hand and the counter. I was impressed, I laughed to myself and my friend Jacob hit my arm. He saw me looking at her, he was looking too. It was hard not to look at her. Even now, having a movie binge all day, with her and her friends, I can't keep my eyes off her. Even in a pair of sweatpants and hoodie, with her hair up in a loose ponytail that's falling out.
When she woke up this morning, she almost fell on her ass a few times. I was tired, but I decided to help her and sleep later. She almost fell, I had to laugh at her. She has a pug, and it's adorable how much she loves it. When we walked into the hall, her sister was asleep across the hall. I was scared to leave her standing alone, but she was okay. She even threatened someone and forced the hungover chick to leave. Alice was hungover, but that chick, she looked like death. I was okay surprisingly, I drank a lot and still managed to remember most of what happened last night.
Alice can drink, that's for sure. It took a lot to get her drunk, I lost count of how much alcohol she had. I'm not sure what her life is like, but I've heard rumors. I guess her dad is some drug God in Mexico and her mom is a hooker. Alice hasn't had a relationship in a while though, I know that for sure.
When the song "Downtown" came on, she got psyched up and happy. She started yelling along with her friends. That made me laugh, she looked so amazing and didn't care if anyone thought otherwise.
The movie is almost over, and I figure everyone is hungry. It's getting late and a few people have left to head home. I think it was Emmy and Matt, but I don't remember exactly. I talked to Christina for a while, but she left during the part of the "Scary Movie 5" that Snoop Dog is running away with a huge joint. Alice's friend is asleep beside her, she had her head on Alice's lap. I don't know her name yet.
"Hate to crash everyone's party, but mom needs some help at the house." Some guy says.
"Awww, you're leaving?" Alice asks.
"Yeah, I mean, I have to ween you guys off me sometime!" He laughs.
Alice stands up and her friend wakes up and breathes in. She groans and throws her head back down, and turns to face the couch. Alice laughs and walks over to the guy.
"Love you James, you coming back over soon?" Alice asks.
"Definitely Sky-Walker. I'll text you later, alright?" I'm guessing his name is James.
"Alright, we'll see you later." Alice says as he walks out the door.
She sits back down and her friend lays her head back on her lap. They start talking and Alice's friend says she's hungry. I was thinking about cooking something for everyone anyway, so I volunteer my cooking skills.
"I'll make something. What do you guys want?" I ask.
"Oh! Colt can we keep him? He cooks!" Alice's friend sits up and smiles.
"Oh my god Chloe, I cook too!" Alice laughs.
"And you're a great cook, but this way, you can hang out with me while food is being made!" Chloe shouts.
I laugh. "What do you want me to cook?"
"I think breakfast for-" Alice gets her phone out and checks it. "A really late dinner, sounds great." She finishes.
"Yeah, sounds awesome actually. Anything would be good right now." Colt responses, totally stoned.
I laugh and get up to figure things out in the kitchen. Alice follows me and helps me get things out. I look at the clock on the stove as I grab a few pans, it says eight oh nine. It kind of surprises me how late it is. I'll probably leave after we eat.
"So about last night..." Alice's puts the eggs beside a bowl on the island.
"Yeah?"
"I was drunk. And not that I don't like you, but I don't-" I cut her off.
"You're beautiful, but I know what you're going to say. We don't know each other." I say.
"Exactly, and I'm sorry, but I don't think I should be in a relationship right now." She looks upset.
"Hey, it's fine. Don't worry about it, I understand." I give her a hug.
"Thank you, and I'm not one for a one night stand. I'm sorry Luke." She says.
"It's fine, don't sweat it!"
"Okay, I'm going to shower and become human." She laughs. She has a cute laugh.
"Alright, and for the record," She starts walking away. "You look amazing, and absolutely human!"
I hear her laugh and she talks to Chloe as hey walk upstairs together.
