I felt something soft and silky around me,..... Was I alive???
I opened my eyes and saw that I was in someone's room..... The bedsheets felt like silk and the room smelt soo different in a nice kind of way.......
Where am I?
The bed itself felt soo heavenly.... I didn't want to get up at all..... But I knew that I had to get up.... At least to say thanks to who ever all this belonged to....
I got up slowly and pushed the blanket off me and saw that I was in a midnight blue, beautiful gown that came up to my ankles, I never wore gowns... So this was a weird feeling........
The room I was in looked very Royal and had that antique feel to it... The bed was beautifully carved with intricate designs... The dressing table had beautiful angles carved into it... The bathroom was huge and exquisite...
There were not enough words to explain the beauty of the room that I was in....
I looked out of the window and saw a beautiful meadow, filled with all sorts of beautiful flowers. I was literally in love with this place... Where ever I was..
I reluctantly got out of the room and wandered around the huge beautiful halls and wondered how someone could stay in such a huge house without feeling afraid....?
I was walking around in East seemed to be a dining room which was then connected to the living room when I saw that the doors leading from the living room to outside was open.... I walked out into the garden... I was looking around when a shrill whistle pierce the otherwise silent air around me saw someone......probably a lady in the middle of the meadows.
I was walking towards the lady when I heard hoofbeats to my right....... And within a few minutes a pure white horse with a start shaped black patch on its forehead was galloping towards the lady...
She was near the lake and stroking the horse's long mane and smiled as I walked upto her, and said,
"Hello my child,"
"Hello ma'am," I replied not knowing who she was and I asked
"I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, but who are you?"
She chuckled and said
"My name is Claire, but my descendants call me the moon goddess. "
Oh my god! This was the moon goddess!
"I'm soo sorry I didn't know... " I said quickly hoping that I didn't offend her in anyway
"It's OK love..... " she said caressing my cheek
Then we both sat down on the grass and the horse too sat down and put its head on my lap and unconsciously I began stroking it
After a few minutes if silence I asked
"Where are we?"
"You are near the Victor's Crown," she replied and explained when she saw my confused expression
"It's a place where all the people who die in some ones place or die bravely are brought to.... "
"So I'm dead?" I asked.... My eyes teared up when I understood that I would never get to see Ethan or the others again
"You are half way there, " she said interrupting my thoughts
"Why halfway?" I asked confused
"Because the dead can't take half soul's to the Victor's Crown...."
Huh?? Half soul's? What was she.....?
"I don't understand...." I said wondering what the goddess was talking about
She sighed and said
"The fates didn't think that you could fall in love with someone again when soo many people rejected you,but you proved them wrong, and grew to love him even though there was trouble on every side, and when you died, a part of you soul stayed back with that young man Ethan back down, which is why they couldn't take you till your ultimate destination. "
I looked at her in horror and blurted
"My soul stated back down with Ethan?.... That sounds creepy... "

She laughed loudly at that and once she had calmed down she said still smiling widely
"It's not actually,..... It's just that you long to stay with the people you love and who love you, and your soul just couldn't leave them.... "

I was trying to grasp everything but it was confusing, how can one person be alive at two places at once?
"So I'm alive there?" I asked
"Not really," she said and elaborated
" you are in a coma,"
"How long have I been out?" I asked
She leaned forward and touched the water slightly causing multiple ripples to form in the otherwise still lake and said
"Every hour that you spend here is an day there, and you have been here for almost 3 days... "
I tried to do the math, but it was difficult
"Meaning that i have been in coma more than a month. " I said after a few minutes
"Do you want to go back?". She asked looking straight at me
And I didn't have to think twice about the answer that I wanted to give and said
"Yes"
She smiled, nodded her head and said
"Jump into the water then"
I looked at her in shock and stopped stroking the horse making it whine
"Your serious?" I asked her
"That is your only way to go back..... " she replied
"Thank you so much. ". I said and both of us got up and she caressed my face and hugged me and said
"It was a pleasure speaking with you my child. "
I wasn't unhappy to leave this place, it may have had the best of everything, but what I wanted and needed was back with the one I loved.

Looking at the Moon Goddess one last time I jumped into the water and I heard the water rushing around me and then all was quite.
