The Rejected Shadow

The White Wolf.

In front of me was a pure white wolf with wings.....
"Whoa..... Who are you?." I asked shocked.... I had never seen Wolf's with wings...
"I am Faramir
The first grandchild of the moon goddess, keeper of prophecies and the special adviser to the council on some occasions... And also the best friend of the person who prophesied your coming...." He said smiling at me....
"Wait...there was a prophesy about me?" I asked shocked. Why will there be a prophesy about me???
"They didn't tell you..." He stated
"Anyway that is a talk for a little later time.....he said and asked Why did you come into the forest Alexis?."
"Simply...?" I said vaguely but my statement coming out as a question....
"The truth..." He asked
"I wanted to get away from the people in the pack house...and I don't know what is going on with me...." I said hoping that, that was enough
"Explain.." He asked, and I don't know what happened to me but I found myself talking aloud about the things that were eating at me inside
"A year and a half ago I was abused and now I'm treated like some sort of royalty...
Previously no one bothered about me...and let me on my own....now everybody wants my attention...
When I was younger I used to live on imaginations.. And wish that werewolf's were real...and I would have a mate amongst them and he would take me away from my hell hole of a house..... But once I got to know that your kind was real....my mate rejected me....am I that bad a person?" I asked honestly hurt...
"I don't..." He started but I cut him off not willing to hear from him that I was not good enough.... Somehow I don't think I could have borne it...
"Don't bother answering...... I know the answer anyway.....
Then the next thing I know I have strange tattoo's on my wrist and no matter what I do it won't wash of!!!
I hate tattoo's!!!
People figure out that I have some sort of weird power and some of them are frighted while some others say that I am only doing this to get attention!.
I am fine on my own!I hate attention on myself!.
Then I get kidnapped and people say things.... I don't know who is right and who is wrong!...
I'm lost...." I said softly, scratching my tattoo and putting my head in my hands trying to stop the tears from falling down, but failing miserably
"Young one....he said softly in my mind and coming over to me and sitting down right next to me and put his paws on my lap and looked at me with some emotion that I couldn't define in his eyes..it was a mixture of awe, sadness, determination and hope "It is natural to be overwhelmed when you don't know what is happening to you...... ." he said speaking in my mind
You were pushed into this mess without knowing anything......

Let me tell you a story

500 years ago....

An evil King by the name of Balthazar ruled the world..... He hated children and anything that was good.... Things like honesty, happiness, goodness were not tolerated under his reign....
One day the moon goddess had come down in the form of a human but she was warned by the other council of God's that she was not to be seen by anyone or else she would be trapped here on earth... She was walking through a forest when the king saw her and wanted her for himself.....
The moon goddess couldn't do anything other than accept him because she was to be trapped on earth for the next 20 years.... As that was her punishment... she assumed that being with him she could change the Kings behavior and make him better.... But she was mistaken.....the King only grew worse with time....
With 9 years the goddess had 5 children but she hid the fact that the children were alive from the king as she knew that he would kill them.... So when they were born she and a trusted maid and Gardener wrapped them in clothes, wrote a letter and put them in a wicker basket and set them afloat in the river outside the castle which she was in....
The gardener and the maid often kept tabs on the children.... And reported their growing up to the goddess.... All through this The king thought that the goddess had killed the child on her own...
These children were special.... As they had the human side of their father as well as the goddess side of their mother.... So they grew twice as fast and each of these five chick had different qualities...
One was a warlock,
Another a wizard
Another a werewolf
Another a vampire.
Another a complete human...
These were the 5 children and they formed the 5 major races of the world....
Once the years of punishment were over the moon goddess was able to go back to her place.... And that's the story of how our existence came to be....
300 years later a seer was born to the clans of the warlocks.... And he prophesied that there was going to be a very bad war where our entire existence would be wiped out..... Which is where he prophesied your coming as a person who would fight for us and help us.. ... The actual prophesy is in one of the ancient book that Alpha Heath has with him.... That was when all the clans forgot their differences and created a council for so that they could make sure that not many bad things happened and they trained people for your coming so that they could help you..... ".
Wow, that's a lot to take in at one time.....
