Relapse.

(Alexis POV)
I think this is the same reason that ur step parents wanted to sell u to someone else, you are no good to anyone anyway, at least people can live with the money they would get if they sold you.......
Why are u even alive, no one wants you anyway.... Why can't you just die?....
For the first time in a year, I heard those words again,. The last time I heard them I ran away from 'them'

Alexis had by now walked out the door and couldn't hear Heath or his mate call out to her,.
She walked where her mind led her, deep into the heart of the forest.... lost in get own thoughts she didn't see the root sticking out and tripped on it causing her to fall and scratch her skin.
Then the tears started to fall, first slowly then fast, she couldn't stop the pain that was tearing at her from the inside.
Memories of abuse and helplessness broke through the dam that she had built around her emotions and for the first time in 12 months she let go of everything and cried
Cried for all that she didn't have
Cried for what she had become
Cried for the life that she wished she had,
Cried for how weak she was,
Cried for hoping that everyone would be all right.....
No one understood her pain....
Cried because she knew that she had no one she was all alone.

She then crawled to the nearest tree and rested against it, still crying, she picked up the sharpest stone she could find and started making cuts on her arms and legs, but even when that didn't help the pain to fade away she got up and started throwing rocks randomly,
But what she didn't know was that when she cut herself, she cut it deeply, she didn't notice it because of the power of emotions within her, her strength was fading.......
Few minutes later she fell to the ground, the last thing she saw was the previously clear blue sky turning gray and she wondered if even the sky had problems and was going to cry.?

One hour..... Two hours.... Three hours. .. Four hours. .

Alexis had still not come back to the pack house....
Heath, and Caleb were sitting on the sofa, Jace was near the fire place still trying to wrap his head around the fact that his mate had tried to kill Lexi, he blamed himself for not telling the details of his training with Lexi to Andy....
And now if something happened to Lexi he would never forgive himself.
Caleb also was blaming himself for not going after Lexi when she obviously needed someone,...... This was the second time he was not there when she needed him.....
Eight hours and Lexi had still not come back,.....
Heath started getting worried. What if the rogues had taken her?..... She was supposedly the child that the prophesy was speaking about....
Withing the next 5 minutes 7 of the packs trackers were out looking for Lexi.

About an hour and a half later one of the trackers have a shout signalling to the rest of the pack that he had found Lexi. And the rest of the tracked rushed to where the sound had come from and stopped to a sudden halt when they saw their sister and friend, lying down in a pool of her own blood...... Some of them threw up in the corner seeing that horrible sight, but for the first time none of big strong hard hearted Wolf's stopped the tears from falling down......

Peter got hold of himself and rushed to her side..... He felt her heart beat......but very faintly....
Two of the other trackers then quickly removed their shirt and ripped it and tried staunching the blood flow....
And they rushed back to the pack house.....

Alexis was never the same again...
Things change When you finally understand that you are alone in all your problems.
She understood no matter what happened, her problems were hers alone, and no one was going to give her a helping hand.....

She talked to everybody as usual but spent most of her time practicing with her powers alone or with Caleb, to avoid further problems she rarely asked help from any of the other trackers except Peter. But the previous incident was a grave obstacle that hindered her to do better.....
When ever she was trying to do better, she saw the face of her step parents and Andy and some others mocking her making her loose her concentration.
Somehow she knew that she had failed herself... And that prevented her from doing many of that things that she probably could have done .

In 3 month she had succeeded in mastering both making fire and getting the water to bend to her bidding...
She had also figured out that she could control the wind around her....... But it was taking a lot of effort
Just two minutes of trying to control the wind winded her up.....

By now Heath, Caleb and the elvish King knew that she was the child from the prophesy.....
And they discussed it with her..... Surprisingly she took it better than they had hoped she would, she was quiet and asked many questions many of which they couldn't answer...
So they had planned to go the Italy, the court of the high council and discuss further about her powers....
