10 years later,
I was in the kitchen waiting for my second son Johnathan to come back from the tree house when I saw him slipping in from the back door and running towards his room. When I said sternly
"Jonathan you come back here right now" he came up to me putting his head down and asked cutely,
"Yes mommy?"
I shook my head getting rid of the thoughts of how cute he was and asked
"Why did you hit your brother?"
He looked at me and said pointing at his younger brother's Caleb's room on top
"Because he was irritating me.... And he wasn't listening to me.."
I sighed and knelt now next to him and asked him
"Jonny did you like it when Domnic was not talking to you and not allowing you to play with his things?"
Dominic was my oldest son and was in school now
"No mommy," he said putting his head down and dragging his foot on the carpet below
"Then it's the same for him isn't it?". I asked him
"I'm sorry mommy , please don't be angry with me... " he said putting his small arms around me and his head on my shoulder on the verge of tears
"I'm not baby, but you have to apologize to Caleb OK?" I said hugging him close
"Yes mom, I'll go do it now," he said nodding his head and kissed me and said
"I love you,"
"I love you too. " I replied kissing him. And sending him to his brothers room to apologize.

I turned around and my handsome mate caught me and said
"You handled that pretty well... ."
I thought about it and replied"You get used to it after having three of your rowdy children"
Ethan put his hand on his heart and said faking a shocked looked he said
"Are you accusing me of teaching them to be rowdy?I'm hurt Lexi, very badly"
I chuckled at him and asked
"Will my kiss make it better?."
"Your kiss always makes anything better. " he replied and kissed me hard, making me breathless
We both walked hand in hand to our porch and looked at the beautiful sunset ,
Ethan was hugging me from behind and I was leaning back against him when I said
"We have a beautiful family don't we?"
He hummed and said
"Yea we do.." I shivered in delight when her Kissed my mark and said
"I love you, and I am so happy that you came back to me Lexi, "
I turned around and looked at him cupped his face in my hand and said
"I love you too Ethan, I'm glad I came back. "
And I kissed him.

It's been 11 years since the war and both Ethan and I are happy with each other and even now I can't sleep without him next to me
We both saved each other,
He saved me from dying and I saved him from being alone for eternity.
The council requires my help from time to time and I do what I can but fill now there hasn't been any threat to any of the supernaturals, and for that I am greatful, and all the rogues who were caught in the fight were given a choice, either die, or join a pack or make a new pack and very few chose to die.

Through what has happened to me I know that love conquers all. We just have to be patient,
Life may not go according to what we want at the moment but just hold on..... Your time to shine will come, it may not be today or tomorrow or even the next year, but I promise you just hold on now and your life will change,
