The next day all of them had gone back to their pack
And  Alexis had given Alpha Heath the permission to send  the letter to the  council.

Two weeks later 5 members from the high council, one from each clan of the supernaturals came to see her,
The first two weeks they were cruel to her, questioning every power she had, and asking too many questions and accusing her of  doing something illegal to gain the power that she had,
They were all in all trying to break her, but how did they know that they couldn't break a person who was already broken...

After those two weeks, these five members went back and 8 others came in their place, these members were comparatively better than the ones before, and they knew instinctively that she was the girl that the prophesy was talking about.
Over the next two months Lexi was training everyday with them,
She had gotten the powers of all the  four elements, she now knew how to control the air, the water, the fire and the earth and bend it according to her will.

There were times when she was so tired that she just passed out on the ground, and those were the times when Ethan carried her back to her room.

Alexis had kept herself away from taking to many people in the pack,  After a few weeks of trying to talk to Lexi, Peter, Caleb, Brandon,  Sam and their mates had given up on her, she would never talk to them willingly she spoke only when she was asked a question, she preferred to spend her free time at the clearing in the woods  or practicing how best to use her powers,  and Ethan was the only person who hadn't given up on her even  though she had tried to tell him to keep away he never listened and was always by her side,

Alexis had tried to keep her distance from everybody so that when she left, it wouldn't hurt the people she was close to,  but Ethan made it soo difficult. .
She was angry with him because he would give her one chance to get angry with him, but at the same time she  was happy because he gave her a sense of normality and hope that maybe the future wouldn't be as bleak as she thought it would be, she was also irritated with him because the more time he spent with her, the more she fell for him, but she couldn't say anything for the fear of rejection from him. And if that  happened then she would completely loose herself and nothing could ever be normal again,.

The rest of the packs knew that there was a war brewing, and everyone were on edge not knowing what would happen the next day,

All they knew was that the strength of the  rogues was  steadily increasing
And the rogues had powers that they had no knowledge about so they were fighting the rogues blind.
And that was a big problem because they didn't know what they were up against.

There were  145 packs on the east side of USA, across Missouri to Virginia  and from Minnesota to Florida, and
Missouri was one among the 5  front liners for the war, along with them were the packs from Minnesota, Iowa,Arkansas and Louisiana, if this line of defense fell then the east side would be taken over by the rogues.
Followed then by the West side,
So withing the next 2 months 10 members from all  the 145 packs had come to these 5 States,  each state had taken up about 300 members,
And all of them along with the members from the council were training hard,
All the elders along with Lexi were practicing on how all could use their powers effectively
Xander ( head of the warlocks) and Samantha ( leader among the fairies) and Alexis three of them had built powerful spells around the  Shining Moon Pack so once the rogues had crossed a certain point, they would be warned that war would be imminent.... Those spells worked just like trip wires or laser beams.

Now they had to play the waiting game, ........ Everyone who had to be protected, meaning children and others who couldn't fight were sent to one of the last  States in the Eastern sides, so if they wanted they could leave by sea, if necessary.

War was upon them and they just had to wait for the rogues to make their first move.
