The Rejected Shadow

Rejection. Round 3

Alexis stood rooted to that spot in shock,
Her mate had a family already....
Clenching her fists to keep at bay the pain....
She chocked out... Looking directly at him.
Can you please do the rejection quickly?...
He nodded and asked his son to go back to his mother.
She then quickly pulled him near the beginning of the woods just a few minutes away from the coffee shop knowing that if her brothers and Ethan got to know about him they would kill him, especially Ethan...
She then said
"Before that promise me something... " and continued when he nodded
"Once you finish your rejection please run... Don't look back... Ok" she said, she didn't want him to know how much pain she would go through....

"I'm soo sorry" he then said hugging her close and kissing her forehead, She allowed herself to hug her destined mate but she couldn't keep reality at bay for long so she pulled away and took two steps back and looked at him

He looked at her with pity and wished that there was something that he could do,
but he started
"I David Samuel Beta of Red Wood pack. Reject you Alexis Shadow and my mate. "
His wolf howled inside him and his connection with her shattered
Lexi could feel every broken shard of their connection piercing her heart and soul but dug her nails into her palm making them break and bleed and said
"I Alexis accept your rejection"
And then all hell broke loose
David ran back to his family,
and by this time all the boys were back at the hotel and both the boys and girls were on their way to meet Alexis when
Peter gasped and clutched at his heart, he could feel that something was wrong with Lexi because his wolf was screaming at him to find her, he could feel that because when Andy Jace's mate had betrayed her, Jace transferred his guardianship over Lexi to Peter.
Ethan too felt that something was wrong because his wolf was wanting to take over him and look for Lexi,
They all ran to the place where she said in her note she would be, when a loud scream sounded near the woods making them stop in their tracks, and their bloods run cold
"Lexi! " Ethan roared first making the rest of the jolt back to reality and ran to where they heard the sound

But what they saw made Peter, Sam, Michelle, Hailey and Caleb fall to the ground in shock
"Ohhh my god.... "
Alexis was on the forest bed screaming in pain and clutching at her heart
It was like as if electrical shocks were going through her, once she would curl up and the next minute she would arch her back dig her nails into the grass and scream in pain,

"Lexi.. " Ethan's wolf whimpered and he walked upto her lying form and did his best at trying to hold her and prevent her from hurting herself, he was breaking inside seeing her in pain, he wanted to kill the person who hurt her.
But none of them knew what was wrong with her
Until she whispered brokenly
"Mate...... Rejected... " making Ethan and the rest of the men growl, their Wolf's threatening to take over, and the girls gasp and start crying
"What's going on?.. " Alpha Black asked he had arrived here with Brandon when Peter mind linked him about Lexi,
but he was now talking to Alpha Heath about her
"That was the last rejection.... " Hailey replied brokenly seeing her friend scream in pain
"Can you not help her???.. Please?" Ethan asked the Alpha
"No one can do anything. " Brandon replied coming to the clearing having just finished his talking with Alpha Heath about her,
"But she might die!!." Ethan screamed at him
"No she won't. This is just the fulfilment of the prophesy... " Brandon said dejectedly, his eyes tearing up looking at his sister in pain
"You only care about the bloody prophesy... You don't care about my sister!!..". Peter roared catching Brandon's collar and pushing him
"Stand down Peter!" Brandon roared, his. Wolf taking control not liking someone disrespecting him....
Then all of them gasped and took some steps back when they saw what was happening around and to Lexi
"Take her to one of the pack houses here ... " Alpha Black said a few minutes later, once he saw that all was quite again....

Ethan was with Alexis the whole three days that she was unconscious, he had just gone out for the first time in 3 days to have a bath
So Peter was with Alexis during this time
"Alexis please wake up.." He begged , he had completely lost track of how many times he had pleaded with her to wake up again
"I am awake Peter. " Alexis said raspily opening her eyes,
"Alexis!!.. ". Peter said shock and happiness and disbelief lacing jus voice and he hugged her
"Whoa.... Peter.... Crushing ....me!!". She breathed out, and smiled when he left her and sheepishly said
"Sorry... "
"Do you remember what happened to you?.. " Peter asked. Cautiously to her,once she had drank a cup of water and was comfortable
