Ethan screamed. And carefully kneeling down beside her and trying to wake her up
His wolf was whining in his head why wasn't she waking up?... She couldn't be dead!
He put his head on her hand and cried
"O Goddess please no, hey Lexi open your eyes, please, don't leave me, Lexi please open your eyes. " he pleaded with her
"Lexi!" He said suddenly seeing her eyes flutter open
"H--hey E--e-th-ethan... " she whispered brokenly
"Lexi, !!. " the rest of them around her breathed out,
maybe there was a chance after all, maybe she wouldn't die,
"Hey guys" she said trying to smile but it came out as a grimace
"I have to go, I can't stay here anymore..... " she said tiredly closing her eyes and wincing
"Lexi no why?. " Michelle asked, her tears freely flowing down her face
"Because there is more to the prophesy the goddess told me the rest." She said and recited
But if her mate rejects her ,he will die leaving her with no support causing the world will fall into ruin

Lastly she looked at Ethan, he had tears flowing freely down his face,.
Ethan....... She breathed softly caressing Ethan's face, touching it one last time, memorising it.
He caught her hand and kissed her palm and holding her palm to his face he said
"Alexis, don't you dare say good bye..... I am not letting you go....
Please...... Don't leave." He said pleading with her,
"Fight it Lexi just till the doctor comes please...... Don't go.... " he asked hoping that the doctor would come soon. And encouraging her to live while he was crying
Lexi's heart broke at seeing Ethan cry.
She knew her time was near
She brushed his tears with her hand, and said
"Don't cry Ethan, you will get someone to love, I promise. "
It hurt for her to say that he would be better off with someone else, because she wanted him all to herself, but she also wanted him happy, and so if he could have a chance at happiness with someone else then she was not going to stop him from being happy.
He shook his head and said
"I don't want anyone other than you.... "
Lexi's breathing began to get very heavy, and her vision was getting blurred because of her tears and the gash on her head
"Lexi please" Ethan begged when he saw her closing her eyes
She opened her eyes looked one last time at her family around her who cared for her and at the person she fell in love with. She smiled softly through her tears and

She stopped breathing and her hand which was in Ethan's hold became limp and dropped to the ground. .
There was utter silence around her
NO!!! Peter screamed putting his head in his hands

WAKE UP!!. Ethan roared, she couldn't die, she was stronger than all of them put together, she was just pretending.... She couldn't be dead.
He tried shaking her awake, and pouring water on her face but nothing worked
